so like........ have any of you seen the musical wicked...........
i was doing a basics search for characters i could base seika's persona on, and i stumbled across elphaba and glinda, who from what i know about seem like they could fit really well as the basis for a persona for seika? but the key phrase there is from what i know. i haven't actually seen the musical, so this is all based on what i've heard second hand - the themes of the musical SOUND really relevant to seika but i don't know if the execution is any good, especially since looking around i've found a fair bit of criticism for the musical too.
so i'm curious as to your thoughts if you're familiar with it??
#ooc#also; do i base her persona off elphaba; or a glinda-elphaba fusion.#i'd feel uncomfortable basing her just off glinda since apparetly she's a very privileged character learning to change her perspective#where seika is very much... not. and it feels unfair to seika to compare them as a result.#but i do like the parallel between their more girly attitudes and glinda deciding to do what's right in the end regardless of how she's see#( if i'm reading people's takes on the musical right SINCE I HAVEN'T SEEN IT )#since that is a theme relevant to seika who's very afraid of being seen as ''bad'' at first. ...but elphaba also really fits much more#as someone who's faced discrimination from society unfairly and strives to do what she thinks is right regardless#idk. the plot of wicked at all though. so idk if any of this framing is accurate; is the thing.#probably i'd stick to calling her persona elphaba if i did go this route but maybe add some design inspo from both characters??#idk; share your thoughts if you'd like!
