The worst part about the modern detco animation style is that it feels like they through all the budget into the backgrounds
#detective conan#the other worst part is that conan SPECIFICALLY looks the worst#other characters look ok or passable. theres a few that even look good.#but i feel like i could sharpen a knife on conans chin#also he doesnt look like a kid anymore because he doesnt look like he has stubby proportions#so he just looks like#a squished adult#like someone dropped an anvil on him </3#like yeah the backgeounds are goregous but id much rather the characters look better#it also feels like a lot of the movie budgets go into cgi and shitty editing effects but ill let it slide because its funny
