SO i did a perfume order from sixteen92 so i figured i’d do a review for anyone who is interested in unique perfumes! was going to post it on my smallblog but i figured people here may also be interested

baba yaga out of the bottle is like liquid dragons blood. like just. liquefied unburnt incense. on the skin you really pick up the smoke and wet dirt notes though which is really good and i love it. smells like a forest ritual which is exactly what it should smell like

keres is really unique and really astringent! smells about the same on the skin as out of the bottle, so metal, citrus and floral notes. smells like an 80s or 90s scent to me, like you’d find at a perfume vendor in a mall that is now abandoned and has been haunted for years. i probably applied too much since it’s a premium oil and it is VERY STRONG.

cotton mather in the bottle is foody to me which i wasn’t expecting? i think its  the sweet herbs. its VERY VERY GOOD. it has ink as a scent note and you can actually smell it when it settles on the skin. still retains the foody smell as it dries but not overwhelmingly. smells like living alone in a cabin in the 1600s, writing out your yearly life update to seal and send off to your friends and family. very comforting and i will probably be buying it in a fullsize roll on

grimm is more subtle than i was expecting BUT that may be because it has ingredients that settle, or because i ordered a tiny sampler that didn’t happen to have a lot of the solidified absolutes. but in the bottle its a very dark smell, i think thanks to the tobacco and cocoa. a very autumnal smell but not in a traditionally comforting way. more like getting lost and disoriented in the wood and not being sure if youll find your way home before nightfall. overall very nice, will probably order a bigger size as well

and tea party serum smells like exactly what it says- almond cake with earl grey icing. havent actually applied it to my hair but i want to drink it smelling it out of the bottle
