random zelda thought of the day: anyone else ever think about how the most prominent non-Zelda love interests Link has (when he has them) are almost always redheads whose names start with the letter M

#loz ramblings #oh hey i actually used this tag again #neat #but yeah the only instance i can think of where this doesn't happen is skyward sword..?#with peatrice #aside from that you've got marin in link's awakening #malon in ocarina #midna in twilight princess #and mipha in botw #and in the other games link doesn't have multiple love interests #though i admit there could be some debate over whether or not malon is the 'most prominent' of the non-zelda love interests #considering the girls in oot link's vicinity literally have generic harem anime tropes for personalities #but i subscribe to the theory that malon is TP link's ancestor #i know this is probably all a coincidence but it is a VERY funny one
