Sonic (the character) is not hard to understand & he doesn't have some deep hidden secret self . . . I think people overthink him a lot.
#he doesn't mask or hide his emotions#''but he doesn't cry—'' bc some people are just not easy public criers#(& also bc Sega needs their brand mascot to look happy & confident for brand reasons)#he might not pull a Forrest Gump & tell ppl abt his life story while waiting for the bus#but if someone asks 100% he'd have no problem sharing bc . . . he doesn't care lol#what you see is what you get!! there's no facade!! he's a very open person#sure you have to know him & also. yknow. ask. but he doesn't hide stuff#idk i think Sonic being the main character intimidates ppl into overthinking#but he is a very easy guy to understand#and he does not have hidden angst. bc he does not care abt his past.#he traded all his fucks for some chili dogs & moved on#sonic the hedgehog
