Like that he has his human body to perform magic with, but let's say - in some situations - his Machine Herald form is what lets him use his ultimate abilities; like in a fight or something

Viktor needs his magical girl transformation (body horror style by splitting his face every time), so yes: I am in favour of him keeping both forms!
