I need a NOAA radio
#we never get tornado warnings on our phones and yes they do happen in Baltimore#not anything recent just reflecting on past incidents#if not for weather or local news apps i wouldn't even know about most of the tornados that have happened live time#and they just give a standard notification chirp not the RRRRNGH RRRRRNGH RRRRRNGH of doom#we do have an emergency radio that i tune to the local WB when i sleep during storms or we lose power#but it doesn't turn on automatically like a NOAA radio does#remember that video of the weatherman calling his sons in the path of the tornado? that happened in a richer Maryland County#the rich counties get EAS alerts for tornados but baltimore doesn't#also hurricanes are predicted to be that this year so
