how come. it’s so difficult to find books on emotional health and healing that aren’t about god. almost none of them make note of being in any way religious on the cover. and yet. and yet! Start reading and the author almost immediately starts talking about god. and look. fine. i get that i can always just mentally exchange “god” with my own beliefs. However! there are a lot of people who don’t believe in anything spiritual. it’s just so off putting to me
