going to be honest with you all i don't really believe in pride month
#nothing deep to this it just literally doesn't mean anything to me#i mean there is a quiet annoyance about like. american holidays getting exported / assumed universal#eg every time someone says 'national day of x'. um. which fucking nation#'nanowrimo'. :/#but also just like..... idk it's just a name#like you Can celebrate it however you like#but just giving a month an alternative name is not like. a real holiday imo#even talk like a pirate day tells u something to do (talk like a pirate)#i guess the pride thing is to Hold Pride Parades but ppl do that anyway and they do it in whatever month they like#rarely june#so like.........#also people going 'x is happening? and during PRIDE MONTH?' in serious terms...... what are you even talking about.#1. it's bad anyway 2. this is not equivalent to like. idk. attacking ppl at prayer or something. it's things happening during june. :/
