It's 1:30am and Im overwhelmed by feelings that I dont have the brainpower to explain but the fact that Johnny names his horse Slow Dancer makes me go softly insane in a gentle n warm way
#jjba#steel ball run#ive only recently started reading it but theres just something so soft abt it...#theres probs a v specific music ref that im not getting becausw cmon this is jojo ofc the horses are music refs#gyro's horse is valkyrie for crying out loud. ride of the valkyries#but like.... theres something just So Soft abt Slow Dancer#Johnny and SD are each others second chance which already makes me misy eyes#but soemthing something slow dances are usually partnered dances were both dancers rely on the other#and idk despite johnny's clear fire and the fact that this is a RACE je went for such a romantic name says so much abt him as a character#i like that sentimentality is a theme in steel ball run and while gyro is the focus of it we learn right off the bat that so is johnny#and is confirmed by later backstory flashbacks#yall know the one#but like.... yeah#i cant words#i havent tried model horse customizing in years but noe i rlly wanna do a lil diaroma of johnny and slow dnacer#i shoukd sleep
