i am super emotional right now
#but not in a bad way. i'm crying rn but it's moreso tears of joy#i'm just so full of emotions right now! i'm so full!#i can't believe that i'm the same person that was still closeted in my freshman year of high school seven years ago#fuck. i've known i was a lesbian since i was in the third grade#why didn't i see the signs earlier?#dealing w/internalized homophobia was one hell of an ordeal especially during middle school#even when i tried to present myself as cishet back then it felt like i was living a lie#it took me until 2019 to finally accept the fact that i was lesbian#and believe it or not i've questioned my gender before coming out as lesbian#i just couldn't put it into words#but now i'm so fucking happy. i'm so happy that i've acknowledged my queerness bc younger me wouldn't have done the same#whole tears of joy are running down my cheeks rn. i WISH i was joking 🥲#my existence as i am now is a love letter to my past self if that makes any sense#what's cookin' in hell's kitchen?
