i found an ao3 script that tells you how many times a certain word or phrase was used in a fic without having to open it
and on one hand its very nice not having to look
but on the other scrolling past multiple 50k+ fics with Percy tagged where he's mentioned less then like 30 times is very ridiculous
#percy weasley#ik ive bitched about this before but i really thought i was just being dramatic lately#but seeing the actual numbers is making my brain just so confused#like what is the reasoning for this is it like the tagging to avoid tactic i just don't understand#like over 50k words man 50k words with Percy used 7 times! why tag him! what is your logic how does your brain work i need to know#but overall a nice little tool that combined with the tags/summary could be pretty useful#since unlike opening and ctrl+f i dont feel tempted to go through the fic as much#also neat seeing that I apparently use Percy's name around 6ish times for every 500 words#and overall so far ive used his name 723 times
