one time saw a poll of like "which character has the most nonbinary swag" and it listed JACK and ive never been more incensed. she's butch you fucking cowards. yes there's certainly room to toy with how her backstory might lead to her feeling divorced from human social things or feel inhuman entirely but she's presented to us by bioware, known Chronically Cishet White Men, as a scary butch woman i hate you people butches get so little to begin with already

also there are literally so many other characters (asari) who are canonically nb and you go with the fucking butch human woman. i hate you.
