This week, I will post comics that are related to one of my favorite celebrations in the Philippines, "Buwan ng Wika" (Month of Language). They are mostly focused both on Pre-colonial and Modern Visayas, as well as our Cebuano language. My main purpose of this project is to educate my fellow Filipinos, especially Cebuanos/Bisayans, about our culture and language in a fun way.(By the way, this artwork is just a preview.)NOTE: My upcoming comics will be written in Cebuano. I'm not sure if I can translate all of them into English for wider audiences. Stay tuned! or in our language, Atangi!Program used: Adobe Photoshop

August 30 Stratfordian Inernational School celebrated the BUWAN NG WIKA @gym, we have fun and there is so much activities like singing contest, palarong pinoy, yelling and other student walking with their unique dresses.
I finally finished this comic page for "Buwan ng Wika" or "The Month of Language" celebration in August. I plan to use comics to showcase our cultures and histories in the Philippines for the month of August.
In the Philippines, videoke has become a common pastime during celebrations, parties, and other events. I observed that the majority of the videoke shows dancers and women in bikinis on the screen while the song plays. In my analysis as a teenager, I found these things to be very wrong in many ways. Can you tell me what these things are? The answer to this question will be provided this August.
Stay tuned for further information coming soon.
PS. The content is written in Cebuano. This is in line with our commemoration of "Buwan ng Wika".
