Hello Everyone!! Amy here!! I have something to share with you concerning my career. After five years of serving as reporter, social media manager, sales ad rep, office assistant, newspaper distributor, and arts & music reporter, it is, how I stated it….”Time For A Change”. Thursday, January 26,2023 was my FINAL day of work at “The Eastwick Press”. I accepted a FULL-TIME reporter position at Spotlight News/TheSpot518. I am also going to focus on another creative endeavor I accepted outside the new position. I begin the full-time gig January 30. I will still remain “on hand” as social media manager for Eastwick Press. It was time to better myself creatively, personally, & professionally and I look forward to seeing what I’ll do in my new beginnings in local journalism.Thank you so much to everyone who allowed me to report on our community happenings throughout Rensselaer County! I’m thankful to have formed some great relationships amongst many individuals & area businesses, and experienced good things in the community that I don’t take for granted.
