the reason essek is only mentioned twice in eots is not because he's not with caleb anymore, it's because they both refuse to acknowledge that theyre dating (yes they have kissed in front of the rest of tm9. yes they did call each other just friends 5 minutes later.) its been almost a decade theyre too far into the bit to stop now
