ty/colin - "i was hoping you'd win."
Amongst the press of bodies, Colin had been there. Ty's head had been spinning, the sound of cheers ringing in his ears, hands slapping his back as multiple people congratulated him. He hugged strangers, he hugged loves ones and they were indecipherable from each other. But the moment Colin Nash's arms folded around his torso, the smell of sweat intermingling with his cologne, Ty was on solid ground. He'd know the feel of the other man anywhere, laughter rumbling in his chest as Ty laughed too, fingers digging into the back of his sweat-soaked t-shirt, Colin's nose finding the crook of his neck. Ty wasn't sure if it lasted seconds, or hours. People would talk either way, find something unsavoury to say. Ty didn't care. Colin was always at his most amenable after a win, but usually his own. Ty would take advantage of Colin's good mood, let him hold the other man a little longer.
When he pulled back, Colin's smile was brighter than sunshine, the corners of his eyes crinkling in delight.
"You were?" Ty laughed, his hand coming up to cup Colin's face, as though he could hold onto that smile, remember it in the moments they didn't speak, when they fought. "Col, mi corazón, you can't mean that."
His hand slipped from Colin's cheek clumsily as he felt someone tap his shoulder, tug at the fabric of his polo. Casting a quick glance over his shoulder, he spotted Maddie Rosen with her microphone, film crew in tow, and for a second the smile on his face faltered.
"Wait for me, alright?" he whispered, slapping Colin on the back for good measure, before turning to celebrate his victory with the world.

MATTHIAS: I guess I was just a fucking hole to you, huh? MATTHIAS: You're pathetic, man. MATTHIAS: So scared to let me in. MATTHIAS: Well guess what? No one's ever gonna fucking love you like me. MATTHIAS: You're gonna be so fucking lonely, Col. MATTHIAS: And I'll be just fine without you.
