Stephanie had to thank herself for being a late bloomer, in a sense. While her friends were in serious relationships or getting married, she was focused on writing yet another book and having her face plastered on magazines just to keep afloat. However, at times her mother’s voice would ring in her head about finding someone...falling in love, and how she had to avoid falling in love at all costs. She hated being a recluse in that sense. She wanted to experience love like the characters in her stories, but...she couldn’t. She sighed to herself as she wandered around. She was ditching her friend’s bachelorette party and wanted to find somewhere to hide out, but instead--she knocked into someone from spacing out so damn hard. “SHIT SHIT SHIT! I’m sorry, that was on me! Are you alright?!”
