‘Then tell me, how long do I have’ / ‘You tell me, how long do you need?’ is a hell of a way to get me immediately on board with a fictional dynamic and the individual characters involved.
#yeah i picked back up with ep1 of nirvana in fire#will i continue it this time?#who knows! on the one hand: it is VERY compelling. on the other hand: it is VERY linguistically intimidating.#but oh MAN this conversation!!#there's just so much packed into such a brief exchange of dialogue#a) the setup for like...
