Poor weather yesterday meant that conditions weren’t acceptable for students however, despite the low cloud base over the North East yesterday, we managed to plan in and fly a couple of Experience Flights with some lovely people in gaps in the cloud cover ......... Thorough weather knowledge and planning is required to effectively plan and maintain safety at all times and, as this is our primary consideration and we are based at Teesside International Airport we are very well used to this .... Pleased we managed to get airborne and share the sights with our Customers, one of whom has now signed up to start his Flying Training with us following his flight. A really busy and successful (but socially distanced) day at Eden today. We are absolutely delighted to report: 2 x Final Skills Test Passes (PPL(A)) 3 x PPL Academic Ground (Theory) Exam passes (Planning x 2 and Navigation x 1) It is great to see the enthusiasm and drive in our students and colleagues despite the current situation and external pressures and these achievements are a great demonstration of the resilience and hard work needed and the drive to pull together and achieve as a team. Massive congratulations to Jordan for passing his PPL(A) Skills Test at @edenflighttraining today. A really great achievement !! Another General Aviation Pilot joining the growing community and soon able to exercise his licence privileges taking his friends and family flying (COVID situation taken into account).
