sometimes, it is best to let our feelings wither. it will take space, and time, and honesty, but eventually, they will. i promise.

swiftowl to me is a pairing about a forest keeper and the lead performer of a traveling circus that stops by a small town. they fall in love, but they both know it's fleeting due to the fact that the circus will leave once all the shows are over.

and even if they want to stay together, eli doesn't want mike to abandon the stage just for him. it's where he belongs. so it's a lot of yearning for the two of them i guess haha
