First off I wanna preface this by saying I haven’t been in the CP2077 fandom for very long and I’ve been following you for even less time but I absolutely adore your ocs, and seeing them cross my dash makes me smile every time I also love reading the tidbits of lore around them..I truly love them and everything you do and I cannot wait to see more 🖤 -ps do you think you could maybe do a up close of gabby’s tattoos? I’m real curious about them

And sure! I can do that, but keep in mind that I can't focus on modding more than like, an hour, so all their tattoos are rushed! Well, Gabby only has one technically, the other marks on their body are either supposed to be a birthmark or scars (I'll get around to make them into real scars eventually but... y'know...)

I'm gonna preface this by saying I can't draw, all these were taken from free vector sites. These are four different filigree images I put together, plus the sign of Venus (♀).

The thorns filigrees are a reference to Jesus' crown. Gabby got their tattoo after being fired from Militech for blowing their cover as a double agent and left for dead by Arasaka assassins. It's a symbol of their rebirth, but also a symbol they rejected their father's power (he's a descendant of the founder of Militech) to join the "mortals", the lower class.

The two other filigrees I used are inspired by rococco art, which is known to be a pastel and irregular artstyle with too many details. It suits Gabby's personnality.

The sign of Venus is both a nod at their gender (they partially identify as a woman) and their essence as a cambion (half-succubus). Lucifer is the former name of the planet Venus. Their stage name is Venere di Luce, Venus of Light.

Gabby has other markings on their body. Two scars and a birthmark.

Gabby's birthmark is a reference to the number of the Beast. I was inspired by The Omen. So, in some occult beliefs, the term "Antichrist" refers to all children born from a demon and a human, not just Satan. It's just another sign that Gabby isn't fully human.

Their scars are both branding marks made from hot iron and Holy Water. The one on their neck isn't as visible usually, I used Photoshop tools to make it clearer. It's the symbol for the Death's-Head Moth, a XBD "studio" who hired Gabby after they were fired from Militech since they cannot die, making them the "perfect doll" for them to play with.

It was applied to them shortly after they started hanging more and more with Maelstrom. Gabby had agreed for the scene, since they thought the mark would fade away pretty quickly. They didn't know the DHM's leader knew about their demonic nature. It's just there now. Forever. It'll always hurt a little bit.

The second branding scar is a symbol of Maelstrom. Gabby eventually broke their contract from the Death's-Head Moth to work with Maelstrom instead. They didn't want an initiation cause they like their face a little too much for that, so they chose a different approach to make themself an official associate of the gang.

They were publically branded by Royce, and yes, it was extremely painful. The scar looks right on some angles only. I'll make them into real scars eventually!

Also, I'm using your nice ask to say that I've changed Gabby's eyes to give them a more unnatural look! They're literally the goat now 🤭

1 - Games you’re currently playing?

i almost forgot somehow, but im playing street fighter 6! super fun and i love the cast except for when the game is too hard and i feel overwhelmed by all the tech and things you have to do to learn characters :< at least they are all hot... 😔✊ but also the like player characters you can make are cool. it's a very good character creator and i always love it when games have that for my roleplaying brain. but again theres too much stuff and it takes too much time to get i dont wanna have to unlock moves :<

2 - Do you like playing with mods?

yes! mods are so good... you can tweak your experience to be just a little more comfortable, or revamp the whole thing. i usually only go through the effort of getting them when its a game i really like, like the binding of isaac or monster hunter or smth. i get all the enjoyment i can out of the base game, then do mods. its fun! theres also just cosmetic mods that change like appearances and audio and stuff like that, and those can get kinda goofy so probably i'd also wait til i'd done enough of the base game in general, but those are really good too!!

6 - Last game you finished?

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hmmm i guess i would say... even though this is a replay, og pokemon platinum (emulated) i skipped the "buying the new remade game out of nostalgia" step and just went back the original without any of the annoying wait times due to emulation lol i like doing challenge runs on it like monotypes and nuzlockes, usually sort of building a team to a certain "character" (another roleplay thing, i really like doing that :p), its pretty fun! i dont always finish runs but theyre certainly enjoyable

13 - A series you’ve enjoyed since your early days of gaming and still enjoy to this day whether it still has games coming out or is one you return to?

i have so many of these!!! well, they more apply in a "single game i always come back to" sense, but still

i have to say smite first bc i still play that game sooo much (almost 3000 hrs ack...) the third person moba + characters u play as are gods from various mythologies combination is really good, hi-rez kinda struck gold with that

theres also left 4 dead of course (but really its l4d2 since it has all of l4d1's stuff) which ive played since i was a kid... its fun i love it! def a favorite of mine... altho the periods i play it are kinda intermittent

binding of isaac series... i played the original flash game which was not as fun but it was a more like, meaningful experience. which is definitely part due to the amazing music, and possibly in part due to that unfairness making it feel hopeless. i only play rebirth these days of course because it is much bigger and better in terms of gameplay, and gameplay is pretty important for roguelikes lol, but you can't talk about rebirth without talking about the original! also rebirth doesnt have good music :(( the only actually good track is the burning basement one (which is really good, but not enough to make up for a whole soundtrack of meh songs). although the recently added dogma fight song is great too, the cathedral ost is good, and the hush fight is one i personally like... other than that its all :l

oh and i still play long live the queen every now and then. a sequels coming out soon which is great!! but its not like the same setting where youre a princess trying to become queen and also theres cool magic which is sad... also the deaths in that game are adorable i love them

look at it isn't it cute. go play this game everyone its fun you have to stop a princess from dying. i like how its written too. i recommend 👍

I ate ham that was slightly over the expiration date...I'm so fucking stupid, now I got awful stomach cramps...shit, man.

I'm trying to distract me in any way I can, so might as well write here a little bit.

Nico started his Persona 3 Reload Lets Play! It was just as I expected. The graphics are really good, the story is exactly like the original...it's not bad, by all means. It's actually really frikkin good! I dunno why I'm so critical about it, maybe it's because I am used to the original music, voice actors etc.

I saw someone who made a FeMC Mod, and it looked amazing. The Kotone fans are absolutely bananas (in the best way possible). They even added personal idle animations, and the UI looked as crisp as the original.

I wonder if they will even change the social links...but I think that would be just too much programming...right? Honestly, I am not so sure anymore.

And Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launched yesterday! I'm normally not a Final Fantasy geek, but this story kinda grabbed me. More like dragged me by the hair Nanami style and threw me into the deepest rabbit hole.

The "such a puppy" line from Sephiroth got the fujos crazy, it seems. Honestly, as a fujo myself, I can't blame them. It is really sort of adorable. I miss nice guy Sephiroth. Now he's crazy and got an Oedipus complex.

But I think The Sephiroth x Cloud ship is up there with the NaruSasu (I hope I wrote the order right...I know some people are really special when it comes to that.) At least I saw a lot of fanart regarding those two back in the day.

I've also been on a Cult of the Lamb binge recently. I thought it would be boring to watch, since it's a roguelite, but it was surprisingly exciting. It's not quite horror, but it is very unsettling. And also incredibly adorable. It mixes well.

Last weeks or so my creative juices have been drying up. I guess it's another phase where I have to wait until the ideas come back. I could work on stuff I already have, but...well, no but. Maybe I'll really do just that. The book also doesn't translate itself.

So I've been thinking and rewatching. And I've noticed a lot. I was gonna wait for Mod Fe to see it to make another post but she's lost in a forest herself right now.

So a few things I've noticed.

A lot of the video feels like stuff we've seen before only from a different view. Recently I discovered that we missed some important details in "Don't Remember" (full post here). Everyone thought the tv was hot but Mod Fe and I went back and it was freezing...just like the wall of ice we see behind asshole Mark. Not to mention the clicking sounds of the tv switching off appear in both videos. But I noticed that both videos have that someone wakes up, sees a face in a reflection, and hears voices whispering to then in the dark. Not to mention someone so graciously pointed out that there's a point where the walls actually look like the inside of the Barrel.

Another thing I noticed was the first time we see Celine sitting at the table. I know because I accidentally started singing empty chairs at empty tables. But then you see her the second time...in the loop. Suddenly there's a knife on the table. It reminded me of WMW of how one minute something wasn't there and the next it changed. Damien seemed to notice the weird effect too when the mirror appeared on the wall that hadn't been there before.

I wanted to touch on the flower. A lot of people keep saying it represents Warf. While I think that might be true, after having many discussions with tons of different people, I think the flower is supposed to represent awakening. Kind of a rebirth thing. In my post earlier with my initial thoughts from the video I mentioned the spring happens to be symbolism for rebirth and awakening. As life grows again characters change and develop. Well I think the flower is supposed to represent Damien waking up, Damien being reborn into this new character. After all he's awakening to remember everything that was forgotten and then he's growing to become the villain that Mark made the mistake to wish for. We also see the flower reappear again when Damien falls into the water. That flower appears right before he starts to remember.

Same goes with the water. Water is also a symbol for cleansing and rebirth. Think about how some religions will baptize people to say they are born again. Water kinda has the same meaning in writing. The wall of water crashing over Damien and Celine was them becoming someone new. We first saw Damien in the video pull a figure he thought to be Celine out of the water but it was who he was really supposed to be. Then he falls down into it and meets Asshole Mark only to become a new character. To remember. But when Celine falls into the water we never see her come back out. Perhaps that's because she and Damien were supposed to have been smashed together to make Dark so again character rebirth.

I also noticed that Asshole Mark kept talking about time. As did everyone. But he talked about it in a different sense. Asshole Mark kept saying it's time to forget the past and start seeing the future. Kinds reminds me of the Van Vlogs when Mark made suspicious acronyms for Let Go. L was something I cant remember but the rest was

E -emotional

T -trauma

G - get

O - out

You also heard a lot of repeat lines or things that might've sounded similar. Go back to sleep was absolutely a teaser for this video. You made this place for broken things but some things can't be fixed happened to be the quote of that video. Asshole Mark said the place they were in, the upside down im assuming, was all a dream where you got to be a hero and he said he was going to create things how he wanted. But you can't fix what's already been broken. A shattered mirror. Broken hearts. Murder. Broken souls.

And finally I really really wanted to talk about the whole scene where Damien and Celine are standing in front of the breaking wall. Celine says she's tired and Damien tells her to rest. Her we have another role reversal, a sort of power play if you will. But also the whole scene felt like Damien and Celine in WKM. When they're speaking to the D/A. A lot of the things they said sounded similar and if I recall correctly at some points they stared at the viewer in Damien. But I noticed something else....Celine in WKM said she could send you back the same way she brought you there, that they could make things right...but then we see her tell Damien that there was no going back and alluded to the fact that things most definitely wouldnt get better.

Was Celine hitting Asshole Mark in the chest with the axe and him vanishing supposed to be him leaving the upside down and going back to a host body in the real world? After all Mark had experimented with it many times...
