Photos for Palestine
Hey there! Want a nice photo by a small-time independent photographer to hang on your wall? Want to also help both a financially struggling writer and Palestine in the process? Check out my store! For an indefinite amount of time, I will be donating 50% of my profits to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.
I am a hobbyist photographer and aspiring game writer struggling to make ends meet at the moment. After paying rent/utilities every month, I pretty much have enough for food and nothing else. I desperately want to help the Palestinian crisis but haven't been able to do much given the aforementioned difficulties. So I figured perhaps I can put my art to use for a good cause.
Link to Store
Prices start at $35 USD for an 8x10 matte print. I also offer metal and canvas options. Here's a small preview of some of my work:
Tumblr media
You can find full-size examples on my photography blog (@glowyphotos), my Instagram (@glowy_photography), and, of course, the store itself.
At the moment, I unfortunately can't calculate shipping costs via the host site for orders outside of the US other than Canada, so they are unavailable until I find a solution. If you are outside of the US or Canada and really want an order, please contact me directly and I might be able to figure something out for you.
Please reblog to spread the word! Thank you.

The Los Angeles fall season was always a bit of an anomaly. While a great deal of the country started experiencing the early signs of the departure of summer, LA stubbornly clung to its warmth. But this year was different. The air had a distinct crispness, a subtle chill that seemed to herald the arrival of fall with more conviction.
Hollywood heartthrob by trade and an artist at heart, Dieter had embraced the season with enthusiasm.
“This weather,” he exclaimed one evening with a joint hanging from his lips as the two of you sat outside, wine glasses in hand, “it's stirring something,” he declared with a flourish of his hands, as if he were painting onto an imaginary canvas.
That ‘something’ turned out to be pottery.
Yes, pottery.
And not just a casual dalliance, but a full-fledged obsession.
Dieter had installed a pottery wheel in his art studio, converting a section of the expansive room into a miniature ceramics haven. He spent hours there, moulding clay with intense concentration, a smudge of wet clay always on his forehead like a badge of honour. It wasn’t long before pottery pieces—of varying degrees of questionable functionality—started appearing throughout the house.
“Look at this vase, babe,” he said one evening, cradling his creation like a newborn, it somewhat resembled . “It's practically a metaphor for our relationship—quirky, beautiful, and one of a kind.”
He'd brought you down to his studio at the back of the garden. An expansive open space with tall windows that let in the golden light of the setting fall sun. The walls were covered in paintings and sketches, and the floor in the area you were standing in was covered in splotches of clay, paint and dried glaze.
You looked over at the small shelves that were crowded with various pieces of pottery in different stages of completion. Some in the drying stage, some glazed and some unglazed... your eyes drifted to a piece that caught your eye.
“Dieter?”
“Yes Bea?” you scowled at his nickname for you, Beaver, christened as such as soon as he found out you were from Canada.
“Is that a ceramic dildo?”
He gave you a wicked grin, “I may have explored some creative outlets.”
You rolled your eyes, trying to hide a smile. “Of course you have.”
Dieter returned with just an apron draped over him, “Ready?” he asked.
You eyed him suspiciously, “I don’t remember Patrick Swayze being naked.”
He gave you a devious smirk, “Well, in the version I watched, he was very much naked.”
You rolled your eyes, of course there was a porno version of the movie, and of course Dieter would have watched it.
“But my dear,” he tutted, “I’m sure you’d be more inspired if you were wearing less.”
“Dieter, I’m already down to just one of your shirts.”
“Still too much,” he countered as he brought you to the pottery wheel.
He sat on the stool and promptly pulled you down onto this lap, his arms encircling your waist. His warm breath tickled your neck as he leaned in close, his lips teasingly brushing against your earlobe.
Feeling heat pooling in your stomach and spreading outward, you couldn't help but lean back against him, the firmness of his chest a comforting presence.
You felt a shiver run down your spine as his hands moved to yours, guiding them to the wet clay on the wheel.
As the wheel spun, Dieter's hands moved over yours, steadying them as they worked in tandem to shape the clay. The wetness of the clay slipping through your fingers, and the movement of the wheel was hypnotic, and before you knew it, you were lost in the moment, fully immersed in the experience.
Soon the sound of the wheel spinning was the only thing that filled the silence in the room.
Without warning, Dieter's hands left the clay and found their way to the hem of his shirt you wore, his wet fingers sliding beneath the material to your breasts, his large hands working softly.
“Hmm,” you hummed in appreciation, the mix of his warm hands and the coldness of the clay already having an effect on your body. “I also don't remember Swayze doing this either.”
The pottery wheel now abandoned, the lump of clay nothing more than just an abstract attempt at something, you had long stopped paying attention to what Dieter had been helping your hands form. You were more focused on Dieter's lips that were on your neck.
You felt his smirk against your skin as he pulled your shirt up further, “How about we take some creative licence with that.”

I love for my art to sell, of course. Mainly because I wish to be able to dance with my greatest lover (Art)~forever and ever, because I know we have.
I just want to stay present and not miss any of it.I love the therapies and good things I am able to get from the proceeds so as not to quiver at the thought of big pharma. I also love how it brings a part of me, little old insignificant & glory filled me, into their homes.
Someone may just be feeling down the day that the art arrives & they open it and smile. They may br feeling lost and look at it on an insomnia filled night and find their way to the sunrise through the lines, patterns and colors.
I have Butterfly art in many places, and want more so they can dance with the scars and lines on my canvas. They mean/symbolize: transformation, souls in limbo, independence, softness and so much more. You can not help a caterpillar transform, if you touch it in either form but especially in the butterfly form too much, to long. . . It dies. It's wings, it's being if affected. To some in Asian old times they were souls in limbo, awaiting their return to the lifestream. As lovers they are very brave. Monarchs travel from Canada to South America for their reproduction. All about butterflies tickles my brain.
Butterfly Soul is the first of 3
All prints are a max 1 of 10
With most being 1 of 3 Shoes, accessories & Art for small spaces as well. Limited editions, first of all because of the upcoming book, second because even if simple or expensive, I don't like things that all have.
If it's unavoidable I always like to make it my own and slightly different. So even in fashion, I rather upcycle /change it up.I wanted to bring that over and into these creations.
I just want as people to have one of very few or one of a kind things. Unique gifts for unique people.
Out of respect and love for all that is unique about you . . .us.
In celebration and awe of that I chose to do limited everything!Long description but I really like butterflies and this series is dear to me, and so this applies to all in the butterfly 3.
Let's just say I like these bugs and I promised a few people that the day I pass on, many many butterflies will be seen.Available in one of a kind traditional multimedia art on Canvas, metal prints, paper prints, canvas prints for desktop and wall, pillows, mugs and maybe some wearable bliss.

Agnes Martin
Summer (1964)
Tumblr media
Agnes Martin was born on March 22nd 1912 in Canada, Agnes Martin was known for her paintings that are minimalist and are done in an abstract expressionism way. Agnes Martin left Canada for the United States when she was 19. Agnes Martin started her artistic journey in New York in which she found a love for modern art and found a big interest in abstraction. Her work reflects her philosophies of tranquillity and spirituality through minimalism and the uses of colour. The way Agnes Martin gains inspiration is that she asks herself “what am i going to do next”. Agnes Martin describes her mind as empty and when she asks herself that question she sits and rocks in her chair until it comes to her. This process can take minutes, hours, days, weeks, even years for an image to pop into her head in which she draws it down the size of a post-it. Agnes used this way of creating inspiration because she said “artists have too much faith in their ideas” Agnes Martin hated ideas and said that “ideas are the enemy to art”. Once Agnes Martin drew down her image that popped in her head she then would use maths to size it up exactly to the canvas and then start drawing the lines. Agnes Martin would describe her work as looking like innocence and that “these paintings are about freedom from the cares of this world”. Marc Glimcher, a friend's son said “she described her practice as painting with her back to the world” since she would have no assistance with her paintings and she would not allow anyone into the room. Another thing she would do is that her studio was completely empty and that when she did have other paintings in the room she would have them facing the wall and all her concentration would be on the painting she would currently be painting. Something that she said was “the beauty is not in the rose, the beauty is in your mind” which I find describes her work beautifully because beauty at the end of the day is just a construct and we just relate it to aesthetics. But beauty is everywhere if you look hard enough, which I think she tries to say, and that there is beauty in the mundane. Agnes Martin was said to be inspired/ influenced by Zen Buddhism, Daoism, Mark Rothko, and Jackson Pollock. Her work was also described as biomorphic, which means abstract forms that are taken from nature, organisms, and body parts. She is said to take inspiration from landscapes which makes sense why people saw her work as biomorphic. I want to take inspiration from Agnes Martin and work with very simple forms and don’t think too much about what to make and just start making it. I also want to incorporate the idea of biomorphic forms and develop what it means to me .

Artistry of Anna Razumovskaya: Captivating the Soul
In the world of art, few names carry the weight of enchantment and sophistication quite like Anna Razumovskaya. Her work captivates the soul, weaving a tapestry of romanticism, quiet tones, and vibrant colors that leave an indelible mark on the viewer's heart. An American Impressionist with a penchant for abstract elements and sensual dynamics, Razumovskaya's artistry is a testament to her mastery of the craft.
Check out Anna Razumovskaya art collections or paintings for sale at https://rsfaa.com/rsfaartists/anna-razumovskaya.
Anna Razumovskaya's journey as an artist began with a solid foundation in her homeland, having graduated from the esteemed Russian State University for Arts in 1991. However, her quest for artistic excellence didn't end there. From 1992 to 1995, she embarked on an artistic odyssey that took her across Europe, studying in Germany, Belgium, and Holland. This international exposure added layers of depth to her already exceptional talent.
One of the hallmarks of Razumovskaya's work is her ability to infuse abstract elements into her art, creating a mesmerizing interplay of emotions and aesthetics. Her paintings are a symphony of color, where quiet tones gradually build to crescendos of brightness, leaving an indelible impact on the observer. Each stroke is a brush with raw emotion, each canvas a portal to a world of sentiment and sensation.
One can't help but be drawn into the worlds Razumovskaya creates, where every brushstroke seems to whisper secrets of the human experience. Her art transcends mere visuals; it's an emotional journey that invites viewers to connect with the core of their own feelings.
What sets Razumovskaya apart is her profound ability to merge classic techniques with a contemporary twist. She paints with oils, acrylics, and watercolors, adapting each medium to her artistic vision. The result is a diverse portfolio that showcases her versatility as an artist, offering a rich tapestry of styles, from the ethereal translucency of watercolors to the bold strokes of oil on canvas.
Razumovskaya's art defies categorization, transcending genres and conventional boundaries. Her work ranges from serene landscapes that evoke a sense of tranquility to dynamic compositions that pulse with life and energy. Regardless of the subject, each piece is imbued with her signature touch, an alchemical blend of passion, pleasure, and joy.
The allure of Razumovskaya's work extends far beyond the confines of the canvas. Her artistry has graced the walls of prestigious galleries and captivated audiences in some of the world's most iconic cities. Personal exhibitions in New York, Paris, Toronto, Amsterdam, Antwerp, and Berlin have allowed her to share her vision with a global audience.
Yet, it's not just the art world that has taken note of her exceptional talent. Private collectors in the United States, Canada, Austria, Holland, France, and Australia have eagerly sought after her works, recognizing the unique emotional resonance they bring to any space fortunate enough to display them.
Anna Razumovskaya's artistic journey has brought her to the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada, where she currently lives and works. Her presence in the city's thriving art scene has added another layer of cultural richness to this diverse metropolis.
For Razumovskaya, the creative process is akin to a divine miracle, an ineffable experience that defies rational analysis. When she paints, she surrenders to the flow of inspiration, allowing her emotions to guide each stroke of the brush. The act of creation is a joyous dance of passion and pleasure, an exploration of the limitless possibilities of art.
As you delve into the world of Anna Razumovskaya's artistry, you'll find yourself transported to a realm where colors speak, emotions sing, and the soul is laid bare. Each piece is an invitation to explore the depths of human sentiment, a testament to the enduring power of art to touch our hearts and captivate our souls. Flow House in Toronto, Canada by Dubbeldam Architecture + Design
Dubbeldam Architecture + Design unveils Flow House, a semi-detached Victorian house in midtown Toronto that has been reconfigured for a creative couple and their children. The transformation of the 130-year-old home included adding additional living space on the back and top of the home, improving connections to the outdoors, and updating the interior and rear yards for contemporary living. The traditional front façade remains, while the interior is now a meaningful reflection of the family’s unique personalities, vocations, and shared experiences.
Also Read | 10 kitchen design ideas inspired by farmhouse style
Though less than five meters wide, with an added area of only 230 square meters, the home now seems much larger through a strategy of compression and expansion. Narrowed interstitial spaces enclose, creating a feeling of constriction, then open to larger spaces with lofty ceilings. And there are moments of surprise and delight – the merging of interior and exterior spaces, the introduction of natural light in unexpected places, and the playful sculpting of elements that establish an organic quality to the home.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Referencing one homeowner’s profession as a ceramicist, the notion of tactility and craft permeates the home through materials, forms, patterns, and textures. Suggesting a complementary hybrid of Scandinavian and Mediterranean influences, the wood cabinetry, screens, and flooring in warm white oak are accented by concrete and Carrara marble sinks, antiqued brass fixtures, and hand-moulded clay pendants. A clean backdrop of white walls and shelving provides a blank canvas to showcase the family’s collection of art, tapestries, and sculpture from local artists, along with artefacts gathered during travels abroad and the owner’s ceramics. Colour animates the interstitial spaces of the home – terra cotta tiles are laid in a herringbone pattern in the entry foyer, and a wall of geometric cerulean blue tiles defines the bar between the kitchen and dining room.
Also Read | How to select a dinnerware set that matches your home decor?
Underpinned by an aesthetic of fluid contours – a deliberate contrast to the rectilinear floorplan – the house’s interior elements appear sculpted rather than built. The helical staircase connecting all four floors is a focal point that expresses the home’s sense of flow. Awash in natural light from the skylight above, the winding balustrade and natural oak treads cast shifting shadows throughout the day.
Also Read | Tips to care for your houseplants this winter
“Curvilinear forms are employed throughout," says firm principal, Heather Dubbeldam. "Arched openings between rooms incite anticipation as they frame views of what lies beyond, resonating with curved walls, display nooks, the kitchen island and banquette, further enhancing the house’s sculptural sensibility.”
In addition to utilizing the latest sustainable systems and materials to promote well-being, large windows and skylights provide abundant light, natural ventilation, and connections to the outdoors. Mahogany-framed, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors on the third floor provide access to a roof deck, while a similarly lofty door in the kitchen opens to the furnished back patio.

Similar spatial strategies continue in the design of the rear yard. The volumes of charcoal-coloured panels that comprise the new rear façade are stepped back on multiple planes to create a roof deck and recessed entrance. In the back garden, compression and expansion are further explored through narrowed planting beds that open to wider spaces designed for play, dining, and relaxation. The wooden pergola, brick pavers, and ochre outdoor furniture are a nod to the various temperate climates the family has experienced together. At the same time, the landscaping of lush plantings provides interest year-round.
