          Ｔhat was an odd question, and Erwin wasn't sure how to actually answer it. Still, he loved his brother too much to not give him some kind of answer, and so he glanced over to the younger male, smile blooming across his lips. "I think it's because they're just too beautiful. They say beautiful things never last long---like flowers, for example." He heard their mother say that beauty was ephemeral, and at the time, he hadn't understood what she meant until she had giggled and translated that sentence to him. Their mother was beautiful...was that why she died? Blues turned over to the younger boy, Erwin watching the wonder that flashed across his face as a firefly flew just a bit too close. His brother was beautiful too...so...so did that mean...he would leave too?

         Would Erwin be left all alone?

         That thought felt as if a hand had wrapped around his heart and squeezed a bit too hard, as if it were a sponge that would be drained of all its fluids. Tears prickled in the corner of his eyes, but he looked away, forcing himself to smile as they watched fireflies dance about in front of them. If God wanted to take his brother, they were going to have to fight...because he would not allow it. Erwin would protect him because that’s what brothers do.

Oh good she's still here... He doesn't always seek out advice but she's his mother and he has always asked for her advice growing up and never got anything in return. Levi peeked around her bedroom door to see if she was there and was glad to see she was,"....You busy?"

She had been doing nothing of meaning, folding the freshly washed clothes so they could be put away later. It wasn’t easy leaving again, but her boy didn’t need someone else there to tell him what is right and what is wrong.

The unsure question makes her look up and turn to look at the door of her room, slightly surprised. “Honey. No, no I’m not.“ She puts the laundry away and pats the space next to her on the bed. “Come here, what’s the matter?“
