In the Churburg Castle we‘ll find eight armors made in this same style. Every single armor is decorated with a different, tipical scenes on the breastplate, such as biblical representations or the Tyrolean eagle.

L’ultimo castello, ma solo in ordine cronologico !!!

Si trova a Sluderno,(Sudtirolo), Val Venosta per l’esattezza lassù dove il tedesco la fa da padrone.

Il castello è proprietà privata, motivo per cui no è possibile scattare foto all’ interno, appartiene alla famiglia del Conte Trapp, da più di 500 anni, molto ben conservato sia nella struttura che nei dettagli, affreschi arredi ecc.

Hardness: <20 HRC.

Heat-Treatment: Quenching.

Weight (with Aventail): 5.7 Kg.

Height: 28 cm.

Width at Bottom of the Visor: 31 cm.

On the side of the visor, in gothic characters one can read: IESUS AUTEM TRANSIENS PER MEDIUM ILORUM IBEAD (But Jesus walked right through the crowd and went his way, Luke chapter).
