"Just a messenger, sir," she demurred in answer, the lilt of her voice almost shy. Their eyes dont meet and she seems smaller under his discerning gaze - she knew better than to arouse further suspicion from the Cipher Pol agent. Besides, all she needed was a few moments to redirect his attention: right onto the trio of catnip balls she'd procured for his pleasure.

Thea bites down on her lip to hold back the smile, though its to little avail as the man's eyes dilate and he dips down to nuzzle against the enticing herbs. A shiver of laughter, unable to dampen her mirth at the sight of him falling under the nip's influence. Oh and that purr! The resonance of it made her bones hum.

"Aw, well I'm glad you like them, sir. Such a good kitten," she croons, saccharine and almost doting as one might address a beloved pet.
