Imagine Walt creating a library for you in the mansion
"Walt, where are you even taking me?" You say with a laugh as you carefully followed his lead. With his eyes covering your eyes, you were clueless as to where he was taking you. You knew that you were both still in the De Ville estate because you had not gotten into the car and because you could hear Mr. Field giving some of the other house staff their instructions for the day. But that knowledge only made you feel more curious about the surprise Walt prepared for you. You had been with Walt for hundreds of years and with that much time to explore the De Ville estate, you practically had every nook and cranny of the mansion memorized.
You could hear Walt chuckle from behind you. "It wouldn't be much of a surprise if I told you now, would it?" He continued leading you through the estate, taking a series of twists and turns until he finally came to a stop.
Uncovering your eyes, you were met with the sight of a door. Giving him a confused look, he only gestured for you to open the door. Stepping forward and taking the door's handle into your hand, you pushed it down and pushed the door open. Stepping inside, you were amazed to find a library inside. The once one-floor room had been made into two as floor-to-ceiling bookshelves covered the walls, each shelve filled to the brim with books. A spiral staircase could be found in the corner of the room and a rolling ladder connected the bookshelf to each other. From your place, you could see how each wall on both floors had its own rolling ladder. Nearing the closest bookshelf to you, your fingers brushed the spines of the books and you quietly read the titles. They were all books you had read before and loved that you had talked to Walt about along with some unfamiliar ones that piqued your interest.
"Walt, this is amazing! I love it!" Rushing toward him, you wrapped your arms around him and hugged him which he wasted no time in returning. "How were you able to do this without me finding out?"
"Well, I got lucky that you don't really go into this wing of the estate. Made pulling this whole thing together easier. Now you finally have a place to store and read all your books in." He pressed a kiss to your forehead. "Only the best for my wife."
