back whenever i rped the trio some years ago, one of my rp partners at the time gave me the fantastic idea of DK!Rommath & i am thinking heavy about it this morning.
a lot of my hcs have changed since then but I think I could still make it work tbh. Imagining like. He ends up partnering up with Sylvanas (not necessarily in replace of Nathanos but ends up being similar in status? if that makes sense) since he can relate to her at that time.
I think both lor & hal would be DEVASTATED to learn that rom died & then got turned for the purpose of the scourge. not only did they lose sylv but now also him too? lor def has a vendetta against arthas now.

my fav thing about halduron x rommath is how theyre a perfect example of opposites attract. i like to think hal is one of if not the only person that can get rommath to ease up & laugh (even if rom gripes about it) & rom is the one that keeps hal on track
imagining rom having a genuine belly laugh at some stupid thing Hal said, whos grinning so hard about getting the absolute most stuck up man he knows to smile, let alone laugh so hard. its one of those lil moments rom remembers why he loves hal so much
