So, I have a theory. I know it’s not exactly uncommon for Jensen to be a bit hot and cold, or even douchey, with Jared at JIB cons. But he seemed especially aloof with him at this one, or like he was trying to be. And he made the crack about Jared’s job security at the end. It seems weird he’d be so butthurt after they travelled to Rome together, and were likely hanging out a bit (plus JA's family). Of course, he could have been just playing his JIB role and it means nothing, but he seemed much more friendly with Jared the next weekend (again, maybe it’s just the Creation dynamic), but part of me started wondering.

Maybe Jared and Jensen had a little time to chat and catch up as they were stuck on an extended layover (besides herding JA's kids). Maybe they started talking shop and Jared told Jensen that Walker was renewed and/or about a backup plan for if it isn’t. Maybe Jensen was feeling extra bitter because he just found out about Walker being safe while either he had news TW is cancelled, or he just knows that’s the most likely option given the audience response. Maybe by Atlanta, the next weekend, Jensen had gotten over it a little (though he did make a crack about Jared still having a job, the rest of the time he seemed fine). Anyway, it just got me thinking.

I suppose any theory is plausible at this point, but I will point out that there's a major difference between JIB and Creation conventions. JIB provides alcohol for the guests, on-stage, and alcohol tends to lower a person's inhibitions in that they may say or do things they normally keep under wraps.

I think Jensen holds a certain amount of animosity towards Jared for, among other things, successfully moving on from SPN into a steady job, and possibly even for having a more successful spin-off (maybe they did talk about renewals), and those emotions may have come out after he'd had a few drinks.

Then, when he shows up at the next Creation convention, he's sober (during his panels) and can hold in any negative thoughts, and possibly even try to do a bit of damage control by going full cheerleader for Sam and Dean/Jensen and Jared, especially if he's trying to win back viewers for TW.

It's definitely something to think about, but at this point, I just attribute whatever Jensen does at conventions as a performance. He's getting paid, he'll do and say what he thinks the audience wants to hear. Unfortunately, conventions are mostly all fans publicly see of Jensen so its hard to get a true measure of who he is when all you see is the convention persona.

I know that J2 prefer doing panels together, but I think it’s actually the Jared fans that would benefit the most from solo panels. So many of the current questions are directed at Jensen, with Jared sometimes added just to not seem biased. I guess I was just spoiled by the jib solo panels where we got so much amazing Walkerverse information.

Every time I hear someone say their question is for Jensen, I roll my eyes and wonder what's next... new project? Radio Company? The Boys? (Which have thankfully decreased in number.) I'm starting to think Jensen's secretly rolling his eyes as well since he really doesn't have any solo stuff to share right now.

I would love to have more Walker questions, but Jared fans, and general SPN fans, are too polite to leave Jensen out of the questions. What I would love to see is Jared join the Walker panels. The chaos they could all get up too... I dread to imagine. LMAO!

I don't want karma to get me, so I won't wish for another show's cancellation. However, I will say it will be a huge relief to not have TW cast around if it happens. (And/or their fans like at ATL, who are openly going around "casually" saying provocative things in front of JP fans, hoping they'll get yelled at & can play victim) So Junior High of them. But then, that's the demo they'd hoped for, right?

LOL! I think Karma's on our side with this one.

Are there fans actually doing that? I haven't seen anything since I've been away most of the day and have only made cursory glances at Twitter. If so, that would be absolutely ridiculous, and one of the reasons Jared fans hate going to conventions.

I hope TW cast is only attending this season and can quickly and quietly move on to other projects.
