MSM Fighting Game AU (PART 1)

Okay so I'm actually gonna try to take posting seriously this one time.

So I've been busy with a project outside of Tumblr where I've made the MSM celestial monsters into fighting game characters!! I will post movesets soon but here are some designs and a rundown on the lore!!

In this AU, almost all of the celestials are humans.

Attmoz is an angel who was a rockstar and part time super hero during the 80s-90s. Years later he retired and opened a guitar shop and tutors Glaishur on the guitar and drums

Galvana is a college student and mechanic in training at a research organization known as "Ethereal Co". But then she found the notes to create a material known as "Wubblyte", which was described as "a physical, Tangible, form of electricity" in the notes.

Vhamp is a robotic being who was discovered and reactivated by Galvana through replacing the Wubblyte core that powered them.

Loodvigg is the head scientist of a marine biology team at a rival research organization named "Prismatech". Prismatech also made Loodvigg, along with other employees at the organization into super agents. And at times they are missioned to hide their identity and steal information from Ethereal Co. At night

Plixie is a product of Prismatech's experiments, being a dead man brought back to life through means of cutting through his body and supplying an artificial blood-flow through the machines attached to them

Scaratar was a scientist-turned-biohazard arsonist after a poison related disaster happened in the labs of Prismatech. They also were an infamous villain in the 80s-90s, but has since been hiding, not trying to pull attention to themselves anymore.

Glaishur is also a college student who's taken a few hobbies while working. Galvana made the mech arms as a means to work with drilling, but in a turn of events Glashiur had to use them in defense.

In this AU it takes place after the superhero/villain events in the late 80s, two research organizations are still budding heads with each other.

MSM fighting game AU Movesets (Part 1)

I decided to go off an arcade-style/overly simplified version of Guilty Gear. Each character gets two mid, low, and high jabs, two dusts, Slash and Heavy Slash.

c.S and f.S (Close Slash and Far Slash), are entirely based on proximity

1: Hornacle

Hornacle is a grappler + Ranger mix where he can pull in opponents using his hook and latching onto them. His standard attacks do not reach far, while the hook can reach across the stage.

2: Vhamp

Vhamp is a rush character who instead of running, dashes to opponents and deals mid jabs that push themselves forward. It's better to approach Vhamp first instead of letting them approach you.

3: Scaratar

Scaratar is an item thrower who uses cyanide cans and beetle grenades as their items. c.S can be triggered when you are very close to the opponent so that the grenade can be clinged on to them, while f.S has you throwing the grenades in the same style as Faust's items. Scaratar's 236p triggers their cyanide can spray which stuns their opponent as well as take off HP.

4: Attmoz

Attmoz is another rush character that relies on his flight ability a bit in battle. He can double jump and hover above the ground for up to 4 seconds and has far reaching attacks through his guitar and wings

5: Loodvigg

Loodvigg is a neutral fighter whose strongest attacks are her low jabs (2P-2D). She slashes with her blades and can kick opponents into the air

6: Galvana

Galvana is a Shoto/ item thrower mix who mostly attacks with her metal pipe. Her 236p causes her to toss a wubbox to her opponents to cause small amounts of damage before falling off the stage

MsM Fighting Game Movesets (Part 2)

Sorry for the long wait I was busy with work but also just laziness

7: Glaishur

I imagine Glashiur being a grappler type fighter, with his H.S being able to grab opponents from the air and his c.S grabbing as well.

8: Plixie

Plixie is the fastest character in this AU. She uses his pistols for their f.S, but does have a cool down in between 3 shots.

9: Furnoss

Furnoss is a rushdown who uses his canon as both a block but also a ramming weapon and, of course, a canon. He is slow when running and jumping but deals heavy damage based on basic combos

10: Blasoom

Blasoom is a lot like Poison Ivy in design, and so her attacks mostly have her using vines and massive thorns to jab her opponents

11: Syncopite

Syncopite is a grappler who mostly relies on his opponents to stay on the ground most of the time. His strongest attacks are his slashes

12: Torrt

Torrt is the major boss fight of FG MSM. They are also a grappler that deals major damage from all positions. Luckily they're most vulnerable at the mid section. So mid jab far slashes could easily earn you the upper hand

MSM fighting game AU (PART 2)

Follow up to the last post with the rest of the cast!!

Blasoom was also a superhero in the 80s, but has also retired and decided to settle down to have a child (Yes in this AU Glaishur is Blasoom's son)

Hornacle is one of the Marine Biologists under Loodvigg's supervision and uses a prototype suit known as the "W.H.A.L.E." Which can change the weight of its anchor with the turn of a knob!

Furnoss is Hornacle's roommate, he doesn't do much during the day but he has a night shift at Ethereal Co. As a researcher

Syncopite was the mechanic before Galvana, but he was fired from Ethereal Co. after his idea pitch of using a machine powered by Wubblyte to drill into mining areas because of the risk that the machine could potentially collapse the city by making the ground below it weak and hollow

Lastly, Torrt is the drill machine created by Syncopite. It was rediscovered and revived by Vhamp through making Wubblyte as well and powering Torrt by it.

Celestial Entropy battle matchups

Aight bout time I show you folks some hypothetical battles between the celestials based on the movesets I've made lol

(keep in mind, left monster is the opponent, while right monster is the player)

Loodvigg v. Galvana

Lood has some of the most batshit crazy low and air jabs in this AU. You're best option is to toss one of your weird robot babies and hopefully taze her

Vhamp v. Blasoom

*roller blades towards you with malicious intent*

Plixie v. Attmoz

I imagine Plixie mains immediately mashing f.S at the start so you gotta just.. not stay on the ground

Glaishur v. Hornacle

Grappler battle!! :D

Torrt v. Furnoss

Torrt is a boss fight. That's all I'm gonna say (you better pray Furnoss' f.S and H.S saves you)

Attmoz v. Syncopite

Remember: Synco relies on his opponents to stay on the ground in order to easily win. You can see where that goes with someone who DOESNT STAY ON THE GROUND

So as you've seen on my blog, I've been making an AU where I made the celestials from My Singing monsters into fighters, I've been thinking of names, but also got some suggestions from a friend. But I want y'all's thoughts of what I should name the AU
