Pages 64 and 65 of my 2015-2016 watercolor sketchbook/journal.

A self portrait on the left page that I don't particularly care for and a fairy-like mermaid on the side. In the bottom corner is a "happy birthday" drawing of me hugging my friend who passed away in May 2012. Her birthday was Dec 10th and I miss her still.

On the right page is an illustration I didn't paint from life or from reference. It was just feelings. December 2016 was my first Christmas away from home, although I can't remember how I spent it exactly... I know I surprise-road-tripped to Texas right after the new year began and I know for Thanskgiving I took the FVM car up to visit my aunt in upstate NY but what did I do for Christmas?? Why can't I remember?? I'm 99% sure I didn't go home. Did I spend it with @theoneman-army ?? The next year I didn't go home either because my parents were in Maryland with me due to my dad's BMT but why can't I remember Christmas 2016?

I feel kind of embarrassed that it's not coming to me at the moment but maybe I'll remember later or maybe the spouse or a friend will remind me. I do schedule these posts so we'll see if I remember by the time it posts.

Pages 72 and 73 of my 2015-2016 watercolor sketchbook/journal. I lied. Now it's just one more page left, lol.

Top page is a painting of one of my brothers on a playground reading something. We were on a road trip and taking a short break. It's a study from a photo so it's not an image from a 'current event'.

Bottom page is an illustration of my character Astraea with her babysitter from my wip children's book, "People Planets". I wrote it for my book illustration class but felt a little defeated by the negative/constructive criticism I received from my professor and I still haven't gone back to it :( I should though. It's a story about grief.

The main negative comment was that Astraea seemed too smart for her age and I was just like... my brothers and I all had higher vocabulary counts than the average kid I guess..... anyways!

One page left of this book to share and then it's on to the next one!

On the leftt are some ideas I was sketching for my parents' anniversary card and a random character.

On the right is my brother holding my cousin's pet bunny. Also on the right were ideas for my alphabet autobiography (which was for my independent study class). I miss the green vest thing and that skirt-I do not have them anymore but I have the memories!

On the left is an illustration of me getting dressed for a wintery day in Rochester, NY. The getting dressed self portraits ended up being sort of a series so you'll see more of them in later pages. I haven't done one of them in a while but I did enjoy drawing them.

On the right is a little reminder of Lent, a small study of my youngest brother at the beach, and a mermaid :)

On the right are the Baudelaire children, a couple self portrait doodles, and something I doodled for when Notre Dame caught fire (I think that's when that happened, correct me if I'm wrong though).

Sometimes I dress more modest than average but it's not for the purpose of modesty it just happens that way sometimes, you know? Especially if it's cold outside (I was wearing dark brown tights if that wasn't clear).

The entry on the right is from when I was in the process of buying my first car I think (still have that car)!

Left page is one of my favorite portraits I've done of @theoneman-army.

Right page has a more complete sketch of my illustration of our lady of sorrows. I think I actually like the sketch more than the final illustration.

Pages 50 and 51 of my 2017-2018 watercolor sketchbook/journal.

Left page was a colored pencil sketch of an aboriginal art exhibit. The work was a large textile. I have a photo of it somewhere. My sketch of it is very incomplete.

Right page holds more proof I've had shoulder/neck issues for a long time, who knows, maybe it all started at the frame shop!

The bottom right corner has another frustrated "ma che??" moment and beside it is another Chance the Fairy Godmother.

Page 47 of my 2017-2018 watercolor sketchbook/journal.

On the left is a sketch for a commission I did for a friend. She gifted the illustration to her friend and fiancé who both had just gotten engaged. I believe my friend was the photographer for the proposal so I did an illustration based on the photos she had taken.

On the right is a study from a dancing photo my friend took of me with a fellow dancer. I was posing rather dramatically, lol.

Top page features a 4th of July "chillax and do nothing" day and a little pigeon friend.

Bottom page is a snapchat doodle I have no memory of and a self portrait depicting the summer experience of the Mid-Atlantic, lol.

Pages 42 and 43 of my 2017-2018 watercolor sketchbook/journal.

Oo this spread has lots of fun things.

On the left page is some ML fan art of Lady Wifi and two self portraits, one depicting a mermaid-esque outfit and the other is my more Franciscan look (i.e. all brown lol).

On the right page features evidence I've been having shoulder/neck pain since at least 2018, probably due to carrying my backpack underneath my raincoat if I was walking anywhere in the rain (see depiction in the top right). The skirt I'm wearing is my dimosaur space skirt that glows in the dark, made by my very special friend that I keep tagging in these posts, @mademoisellesarcasme lol. Yes, it has pockets!

On the bottom of the right page are two sketches for a couple of greeting cards. One is a grief/sympathy card and the other was a goodbye card. The grief/sympathy card turned out a bit differently than the sketch but the goodbye card final look is pretty close to my original idea :)
