The quality control process in ceramic tile industry plays crucial role to enhance the quality standards. At present the quality analysis is mostly done manually. Manual inspection is not so efficient and it is labour intensive. Defect detection accuracy is lower due to human mistakes and unforgiving mechanical condition. To vanquish these issues, an automated inspection system for crack tiles that depends on image processing methods is presented. The tiles are examined using image processing concept using matlab software. The processing is very less compared to that of manual inspection. The automated inspection system can replace the manual ceramic tile detection system more efficiently and with better accuracy.

Searching for Signs of a Leaking Roof
A leaking roof commonly creates substantial aggravation. In the dry, summertime the roof hardly ever obtains a look in. As any prospective trouble frequently goes noticeable until the weather condition transforms as well as it starts to get wet exterior. Redland mini stonewold roof tile vent, if un-repaired for a time period can cause fairly visible damages to the structure of the home, in addition to the interior fittings. Thus it is for that reason vital to take the appropriate steps to perform roof maintenance at normal intervals to assist with staying clear of major, on-going defects.
Below are several of the steps that can be required to identify signs of a possibly leaking roof -.
Interior Damp - a quick and also very easy way to detect signs of a dripping roof is to examine the ceilings upstairs for leaking or water marks. A leaking roof is commonly the most usual need to have a wet patch show up on the ceiling. Additionally, try to find signs of cracks, which might mean that a roof has actually been leaking for time.

Saturating a Roof - a quite effective action to self-detecting leakages is by saturating a roof with either a lawn sprinkler or yard hose. This must conveniently appear feasible leaks as well as could additionally let you understand if a ceiling fracture is related to water damages. Other treatments can be used to find leakages, although these two choices are rather easy for the typical home owner.
Missing out on Floor tiles - maintain a normal eye out of missing floor tiles or tiles, specifically after incredibly gusty climate condition outside. If lose or missing out on ceramic tiles comes to be a significant trouble it may well deserve speaking to a roofing firm regarding just what may be done. In some locations where it is often wet, it may benefit to have a roof replaced with new.
Wet or Mold - keep an eye out for possible signs of moist and mold near such areas as a skylight, vent or smokeshaft, which could be an early sign of a roof starting to leak. Roofs are often subjected to dripping where the floor tiles overlap and therefore makes it vital to examine the joints as mindful as feasible.

Specialist Examination - for a complete amateur to Do It Yourself related jobs it can be quite hard to expose all signs of leaks, and for that reason it may well profit to contact the services of the experts. An expert roof business would be able to do an in-depth evaluation for leaks, and if any are located, they can offer recommendations on what activity might be needed to place the roof back to its prior leak-proof problem.

It’s been a long time since I updated my blog. This is because most of our Tuesdays were cancelled due to unavoidable instances and accidents. Nevertheless, I am happy to be back here to give you all an update as to what happened (or is happening, it’s Thursday and this blog is dated 2 day ago) on our class.
It was a typical stressful Tuesday. Thermodynamics exam is scheduled by 5:30pm and everyone was a wreck. But this blog is not about that and I am not here to discuss how everyone managed to fail the exam. We only have 3 hours for our laboratory, and half of it was designated for the ever postponed reporting. I went 2nd because no one’s volunteering and I just want to be done with it. It was successful, besides the fact that I was nervous and was stammering (a bit). I was able to discuss how my chosen journal which is entitled “Matlab based Automated Surface Defect Detection for Ceramic Tiles using Image Processing” by Yasantha C. Samarawickrama and Chamira D. Wickamasinghe. It was a journal presented on the 6th National Conference on Technology and Management held in Malabe, Sri Lanka last January 27, 2017. It was a really fascinating journal. Using only extracted morphological data, they were able to identify tile defects like middle cracks, edge cracks, and even discoloration. It got a 96.36% accuracy, with 2 seconds rated time when scanning a single tile.
Another half of the 3 hours for our class was used for the discussion of artificial intelligence. Neural Network Tool was discussed and we were thought how to import data and train also train it as well. Also, we were instructed to submit an abstract this Saturday about coffee bean classification using MATLAB. We were given the data today. And we have tomorrow and Saturday to submit the abstract by 6pm. It’s gonna be 2 long nights for most of us.
