ohemgee.... people want to know about my OC. okay I'm chill and normal. I haven't posted anything about her yet, partially because I literally made her up two weeks ago but I can give you a summary if you really give a gaf.

her full name is Francesca Lloyd. she's welsh/italian and currently drives for Alpine; she started out in the mercedes driver academy but that kind of went to shit and, long story short, she is very vocal about Toto Wolff being sinister and incompetent because nothing will traumatise you like being a 19 year old girl and being made to feel like you aren't good enough to do the one thing you've dedicated your whole life to. she was initially skeptical of Antonelli as Toto's "project" but they get on well and she's vowed to burn Brackley to the ground if anything bad happens to him (although she's probably just looking for an excuse to do it at this point). her and Russell don't interact often but when they do they give mutual pissed-off sibling vibes.

2025 is her third season in f1 and she has a handful of podiums to her name as well as one win because I can and will appropriate Brazil '24 for my own narrative. her driving style is fairly balanced and she does well in the wet but has a bad habit of psyching herself out on tracks that feel claustrophobic--either by having narrow track limits or by being immediately walled off.

she's deeply superstitious about the number 14 and will get increasingly skittish if she finishes any session in 14th. she keeps very detailed journals and will blow up at anyone that even gets near them.

her and Doohan are a fun team pairing--they might be a relatively inexperienced team in f1 but Cesca had an extensive and strong run in lower formulas before joining the grid so she can hold her own as the more experienced of the two of them. they give off a much more pleasant sibling-esque vibe than her and George do, at the risk of seeming like a pair of unserious but loveable idiots.

the closest people to her on the grid--although she's hesitant to call anyone a friend--are Hulkenberg and Tsunoda. she wasn't expected to join the grid with Alpine, of all teams, so when she did she felt very out of her depth and Nico and Yuki were both very grounding, sensible presences that gave her a good excuse to stop hiding in her driver's room and go have a normal conversation with someone that the cameras weren't focused on 24/7.

man I info dumped more than I meant to oops. there's more weird insane lore buried in her notes but hopefully this is a decent primer on the stuff that would be commonly known about her. I'll leave you with the picrew that feels the most representative of how she looks

Cesca has several pre-race playlists she listens to get her in the right mindset but the one she defaults to when she's feeling roughest is entirely Britney songs. If you see her trudging around the Alpine garage looking like someone died you know (You Drive Me) Crazy is playing full-blast through her big noise cancelling headphones

Cesca loves Fernando and he’s kind of the reason she’s superstitious about the number 14 in he first place. He was her favourite driver in F1 growing up and 2018 was a very rough year for her (the perils of being a 17 year old girl) so when driver #14 announced he was retiring and then she finished both f4 series she was racing in in 14th place (her worst result in any of her junior formula years) she got suuuper weird about the number. She’s definitely working and improving on it and maybe broke the curse a bit in China, but it will be back to get her soon I imagine.

Anyway back to Fernando, he was with her the first time she was on a podium in F1 and she was crying a bit and he hugged her and it just made her cry more,, like she’s an emotional gal who thought her career was doomed and she’d never even get a chance at F1 so her childhood idol comforting her and telling her she pulled off a great drive was sort of huge.

I’m thinking she was probably at least raised catholic even if she doesn’t consider herself religious anymore and I think Fernando (and Valentino Rossi, another huge inspiration to baby Cesca) are probably bigger than Jesus to her. If she saw Marci trailing Fernando around begging for cock she’d smack that boy for sacrilege; he is an icon in every sense of the word and you need to have some respect (dw she has her own old-man-fucker desires and questionable paddock crushes so she’s not free of sin)

Cesca's weekend is taking shape. more sinister events incoming :)

Cesca's mum works for Ferrari and her eldest (half)brother Alessandro is her personal trainer. Her dad is almost always at races by association and for moral support so the family spend a lot of time together even though the kids have obviously now moved out. The exception is her other (half)brother Gaspare, who is usually too busy having a real job or whatever

Cesca's engineer, David, looks like if you made one of my secondary school teachers Agent 47 French. On the rare occasion he gets sassy over the radio she calls him Diana and it pisses him off enough that he'll usually shut up and let her drive for a lap or so.
