florence, or flo, is the sweetheart of the er. sometimes teasingly called princess because of her prim & proper demeanor, florence is getting used to life in hope valley. she’s a bit withdrawn—preferring to spend her precious days off at home with her cat and knitting baby hats for the hospital nursery–but appreciates how friendly everyone has been to her.  despite being shy and soft-spoken in her personal life, she’s not afraid to take charge in emergencies (not as infrequent as she expected in the small town) and can handle herself even amongst the most rowdy patients. florence is demisexual and hasn’t had any worthwhile relationships: both the fault of herself and others. she’s hesitant to enter hope valley’s dating scene despite all the elbowing from her co-workers.
