okay i’ve been seeing a lot of milos hate lately and as his number fan i must defend him cuz everyone is COMPLETELY missing the point of his character and have no reading comprehension. so,
IN DEFENSE OF MILOS ARCHAKI
if you truly believe he wanted marilyn to die, or even worse, was the mastermind behind her attempted murder, you’ve gotta reread. it was literally said that jericho texted him like two hours prior. and now i hear the haters saying that he could’ve faked that, but remember, jericho even admitted later that it was his family that did it. him and his brother.
i mean come on he was literally a broken mess after the events and never truly the same after. i hear you saying it was the guilt that he was behind it all, but have you considered it simply was just the guilt that he could’ve done more? logically he couldn’t have done more without putting himself in danger, or even worse for him, charlie. but in his mind it’s clear that he regrets not telling charlie wondering if it would’ve had a better outcome that way.
look it’s been established that milos, charlie, and marilyn were childhood friends. could you imagine how distressing it would be if you had to choose between one childhood friend getting killed, the other getting killed, or you getting killed? also he did try to warn marilyn right before it happened, he just happened to grab the wrong twin.
anyways what i’m trying to say is that there is no reason to be hating him for the marilyn situation as i’m sure no one would’ve done better if put in that position.
now there’s the shiloh situation and i’m not gonna try to defend what he said because it was absolutely wrong, but i don’t think he should be cancelled for it.
i mean it’s not like it was unprovoked. shiloh intentionally pushed his buttons, poking at things important to him. theater is his life of course he’d be upset at someone saying he’s actually ass at the thing he’s put all his time and energy into for years. not to mention poking fun at his smarts which he’s already insecure about. and then having to mention that charlie never posts about him, trying to imply that charlie actually doesn’t love him or at least not as much as mav loves shiloh. reaaaallllly low blow. i mean i’m sure she doesn’t know the full extent of the situation there but remember how charlie and milos fought so hard after the marilyn situation? we see in the elevator scene how much milos was hurting thinking that charlie would never love him again. not to mention how in their dance scene milos still lives in fear that charlie will still hold the marilyn thing against him and leave him. this is already getting king so i’ll stop here by saying, his reaction was reasonable.
now what he said was absolutely just as low of a blow. he should not have attacked shiloh’s insecurity because it’s something she’s always struggled with and as seen it set her back in her progress. i will never defend that. but i do think it’s also worth noting that the two talked it out and now seem to be in great terms. especially with how milos was the first person shiloh came to for advice about the markos and mav situation. the two were obviously friends before then too. it’s a classic case of poking fun at your friends going to far resulting in dipping into each other’s insecurities. was what milos said wrong? yes. was what shiloh said wrong? yes. should we be able to move on like these two did? also yes.
i rest my case. i’m sorry i just love these characters so much and i hate to see all the discourse and fighting. they’re complex characters for a reason not everything is black and white.
