Today's been a blast, much of which goes to the New Challengers Stage 12 tournament. Thanks to @newchallengersnc & @setplayclt for always manning the helm of CLT's premiere monthly, as well as to GK for coming down & kicking it back with the big turnout for Street Fighter 3rd Strike. While the music plays on, our Haming Scene is also in full-swing today! New Challengers now keeps separate weekends in order to run some of the smoothest fighting game tournaments on the East Coast, and today is the Platforming Portion, With Smash Bros Ultimate & Rivals of Aether on tap, to name a few titles playing today. Get Some Game Card Shop is the site today, so come by there if you're in the Charlotte area & want to pit yourself against the best CLT has produced!!! ~~~~~~~~~~ We're stationed in the Queen City, but when it comes to scenes, it's important to give as much love as you're getting, and the gang running the Lost Ark Legacy series give us plenty 😎. Good Morning, CLT Scene!! Getting back to a groove of event talk on both sides, we're starting today with "Something Good For Ya" on this Friday 😉😎🎶, which Speaking Of! The boys are back with their 49th Episode, dropping earlier this morning, so go check out a band that puts on one of the best music podcasts in the city, bringing you closer to members of our local scene on a weekly basis. ~~~~~~~~~~ And Tonight! Valkyries Game Nights return to Thirsty Nomad for our Halloween Havoc event!!! We're doing horror right with some classics such as House of the Dead & modern frights such as Catherine, plus a little competition for you & friends with Super Mario Party & Overwatch's Junkenstein's Revenge! Hey all, just a quick update from our end; We hit a little bit of a burnout here at RF20XX recently. This week, we'll be catching up on back-posts with artists we got to check out, lay some ground work for a new format, and jump back to our roots. One thing to be left with, do what you love, work hard, & keep tweaking. We started out here as a writing blog & started to expand into an idea of how to participate more in our local scenes. With all the insanity that was the eventful Charlotte Saturday amidst the stormy weather, did you know that one of the bigger gaming events in Charlotte dropped this previous afternoon? New Challengers is a combination of Mastermind & SetPlay's ingenuity and stage-building within The Queen City's scene, bringing together the ultimate opponents from around town & regularly those on the outskirts, even out-of-state scenes like ATL & Richmond.
