Chessgender, also known as Patterngender, Checkergender, Chessfluid, Checkerfluid, Patternfluid, etc. is a nonbinary/genderfluid identity for when your gender fluctuates in certain patterns. These patters can fluctuate as well. These patterns are also capable of bouncing back and forth.

It is a genderfluid subset, but the fluidity is patterned by week or months, maybe years. It only fluctuates between two genders at a time until they're ready to switch to another pattern the next day, week, month, year, etc.

Chessgender can also be used as an aesthetigender, For people who have an asthetic connection to checkers, chess, etc. and connect it to their gender.

i.e. fluctuating from male to agender, male to agender, agender to demigirl, agender to demigirl, demigirl to bigender, demigirl to bigender, etc.

i needed this flag for a request and had to recreate it, and since it’s a pretty complex design i figured i’d post it! here’s the coining post.

flag id: a flag made up of three separate checkerboard patterns. each pattern is made up of 50x50 squares, which are each 1/12 of the length of the flag itself. roughly the top fifth and bottom fifth are made up of a red-and-black checkerboard, the second fifth and fourth fifth are made up of a black-and-white pattern, and the middle fifth is made up of a red-and-white pattern. the patterns do not flow perfectly into each other, thus leaving small rows of each pattern beside each other.
