It's not furnished, and not everyone's smaller details like closets and flooring etc are there. Buuuutt here is a vague outline for you all of The Estate House and who lives in it at the present/has reserved rooms for them when they come home to the estate.

And to note, we haven't explored the entirety of the estate

Don't judge me, I'm not perfect when it comes to Sims builds lololol

I'll be working on furnishing and finishing touches, and then possibly do sections of the hotel. But I have a pinterest board for hotel, estate, and other property buildings that I might post if yall want them....;)

I keep seeing delulu army's being grumpy about there being another woman in one of their mvs, and I even saw someone rehashing an old complaint about Seven being sexist for some reason??? (Literally makes my eye twitch and I wanna punch a wall LMAO).

I need some positivity on main yall. I'm obsessed with Loser/Rope it, but I can tell With the Clouds is going to climb the ladder.

Heart on the Window still remains my top Jin song rn, no one has usurped her throne yet.

This is just my curiosity, and also me not wanting to embarrass myself: Is English any of my readers' second language? If so, what's your native language? I use a combination of Google Translate for things, stuff I remember from school lessons, and online language learning resources for things. If I ever have to use any of y'all's language, I don't want to look like a complete clown lol.

Because if y'all speak any language I plan on tossing in, I might run a sentence by you here and there as the story goes to make sure it's not absolute garbage if you're open to that. Absolutely zero pressure at all, and I love you all so much.

And as an aside, if any of my readers speak German and something every looks really wrong and you feel gracious enough to offer advice on how to fix it, I will gladly take it. My German is very weak and very minimal.

Just for an update: My upload schedule is going to be a little less consistent for the next few chapters. I might move to every 1.5 weeks or every 2 weeks, or I'm going to shorten the chapters a bit. Just because my garden is about to kick off and it's a lot of work to take care of (oooff I wish I had Pechstrahne Joon here to help me with it cause Phew), and until whatever personal situation I have going on goes by.

I'm also going to be going back and just fixing a few grammatical errors in the first few chapters so I can upload them on other platforms, as well as work on that Family Information sheet for my sleuthers. I'm not changing any important details or anything, just touching up my writing a smidge. I feel like I've really started finding my writing voice and that I've already improved so much since the first three or four chapters that I just want to tweak some sentences.

I'll still be around to chit-chat and all that jazz, and I'm still writing-just a bit slower.

and the fact that the flashlight did nothing?👀 THAT MADE ME NERVOUS! Also her gaining a stronger presence in the spiritual realm (idk if I can call it that), but yes.

I love the way everything is unfolding and every chapter leaves us wanting more and THINKING! Hopefully we can handle the spooky parts when they do arrive. I fear I might have to read with all the lights on🤣

I need your story to become a real life series because this is just too good and the SUSPENSE 😭 you have us hooked!

I read it this morning and I’m still trying to wrack my brains to piece things together.🤣

Okay so this is going to be a long answer about their character profiles so I'll put it under the cut. And obviously for new readers if you haven't read up until at least chapter 5 I'd say wait a hot minute for this one lol

As of right now all they can do is see but at different levels. Jungkook can see things consistently as if they are real, where as Yoongi "sees" energy, not always a person or a distinct shape.

Let me try and answer this in a round about way without giving up anything we haven't brushed on yet haha.

Psychic senses can often be categorized by what it is they are most sensitive to.

For some character background here because I'm feeling generous today: Yoongi's abilities are technically considered Clairsentience. Clairsentience is when someone can get energies, emotions or vibes and translate them better than others. Like a spiritual empath. (obviously, I take a teensy bit of creative liberty when it comes to all of these definitions, but that is what he is loosely based off of).

Jungkook's character profile and abilities would best fall into Clairvoyant territories with something else. Clairvoyance is the most commonly thought of form of psychic ability, which is seeing and sensing people or objects that aren't visible to the normal eye.

HOWEVER-these categories aren't a rigid box, it's a fluid label.

If I were to imagine psychic abilities or spiritual sensitivities in a more tangible way, think of it as a staircase with the floor being your average Joe in the real world, and the top being as spiritually sensitive and open as possible-easy to reach both in and out in many different ways. Yoongi might be naturally four stairs higher than the average person, and Jungkook might be like...Seven steps higher. It means the climb up to spirits, events, or glimpses at the top is shorter, and vice versa it's easier for ghosts to reach them than if they were to be on the floor.

Once you have your foot near or on one step, you can try to push the boundaries of what you can and can't do when it comes to spirituality with practice and intention. And the MC is a great example of that: all of her spiritual gifts are learned, and it's something she is working hard on developing to keep up with the ones who were born with it.

Again-trying not to give too much away here-but we know Jungkook as a character is pretty protective and reserved, and maybe even a bit easily influenced by the people around him and their opinions. While he may seem brooding, intimidating or standoffish-he is very gentle, loyal to a fault, caring, and soft. He just doesn't know how to express it in ways that are considered societally normal.

Up until now (that we know of), he hasn't necessarily had a reason to need to start getting physically involved with ghosts or expanding his abilities because he isn't an outwardly aggressive person in comparison to other characters, and has a complicated relationship with them that we kind of touched on with with the story of his mom. That is also something we will be diving more into as time goes on so I won't speak too much on his past with it, but it has a huge influence to how he handles his abilities presently. Really embracing them is something he might not be familiar with, and he himself might not even grasp what his limits are yet 👀

Another key thing here with Jungkook's character is he is a very "show don't tell" kind of person. Even the absence of emotional expression can be its own indicator of how he is feeling about someone or something.

(And again because I'm feeling extra generous-his behaviors are a good way to note who he feels the most comfortable with at the estate, or maybe has a history with).

Yoongi is someone I unfortunately have to stay quiet on for the time being-but I hope what little I was able to share was helpful!

I am so very sorry for this long response, but their character profiles go so deep there's SO MUCH. Unfortunately for you all (like Y/n), I ramble way too much.

I am no joke considering getting a corkboard and red string so I can have something physical besides my master document for all of my details everything goes so deep lol.

Chapter 10 is so good! I wish I found this when it was done so I could just binge it because I’m always filled with more questions and theories.

Was the woman referring to Jungkook as the psychopomp? And who’s going to die? I feel like it’s Jimin because he’s closer to the paranormal activity than the rest. (Or so it seems).

I’m glad she finally spit it out to Jk. Maybe I’m biased, but I prefer them. Everyone else seems like they’re always hiding something from her and walking on eggshells. It irks me. So Jk with his all seeing eyes for the win!🤣🤣

and Jimin and his ghost that followed them? Creepy. 😭😭

There is A LOT going on and I’m ready for the rest, but I fear that whatever is to unfold is going to break trust and relationships between the group more than it already has.😭

GAHHHH Your comment was the deciding factor for putting it in this chapter and not one of the next couple chapters. I was on the fence about it, and had three seperate options for where to tuck it within the story web that would work with my plans...but something about where it fell felt natural for them and their bond and how they communicate/exist together.

Of course...we have no clue what happens in the next chapter with that though....

So there isn't technically a main piece since it's ot7, and Jimin personality-wise just fits as the first romantic interest because of his preferred ways of showing affection and his tendency to be pretty transparent. (Save for when Mariah had him in a chokehold).

Jungkook ramble under the cut CAUSE HE'S MY BABY

Jungkook on the other hand, my poor, poor, baby. He has liked her literally his entire life, but never made a move or was too outwardly affectionate towards her in fear of making her feel like she was forced because of their friendship. Because while he's stubborn, a little overbearing and can come off as rough, he's very much a little goofy, soft, gentleman. Even now when there are definitely signs that she likes him the same way, it would take him time to even believe it, since it was always kind of expected within the house that she would end up with one of the more outwardly affectionate guys like Jimin or Hoseok.

Also looking into context clues (and without spoiling too much about his character aspirations that we haven't touched on yet), Jungkook is one of the boys that hasn't been discussed ever leaving the Estate. He didn't go to college, didn't travel much, and he works a pretty unassuming job away from the public eye. Thus, he didn't have a lot of social interaction with the outside world and different kinds of people besides the internet, or if he had met anyone while out at the hotel for events.

(just going based off of who we know) Namjoon, and Jimin have degrees, and have traveled at varying levels around the country (and outside of it). They are well versed in many different kinds of people, relationships etc, and wouldn't be particularly thrown off by Y/n liking more than one person. I don't think Jungkook would be necessarily opposed; he just hasn't been around it to his knowledge to get a good idea of it, which might add to his strange behavior.

And last context clue hint, Jungkook has insinuated that he can have a sense for mood and feelings similar to Yoongi, just not as intense or strong. If Y/n has felt romantically interested in Jimin and others for longer than she knew, he could see it and might have taken it as a sign to back off. Perhaps whatever he and Namjoon keep discussing might have something to do with it, and mayhaps some gears are turning in his head.

Okay I could literally talk about him all day but I will stop here. Sorry for the very long Jungkook Reaper ramble LOL.

Yoongi forever the rebel 😭 the way that he is what I call on his character board "quietly loyal" makes me swoon. She hugged him that one time and he said "Alright, I guess I owe you my life or smth idk." He's definitely a guy who appreciates repeated actions of care more so than anything else, so her sticking by him almost immediately, and then MC choosing to be soft with him when everyone else has been harsh? Yeah. Receiving he's def an acts of service and words of affirmation kinda bitch.

I've just been dealing with some health issues that are making me both hate our Healthcare system here in the US more than I already do, and are also impeding on my ability to focus on writing sometimes.

(Cheers to anyone from anywhere with a uterus fighting for their doctors to listen to them, or are nervous to go to one and be dismissed –it sucks out here yall.)
