Repotted my #ChineseHolly #bonsai over the holidays. It used to have its 2 trunks intertwined before, but I managed to separate them and make it into a 3-trunk bonsai in training. I also exposed some of the roots when I transplanted it, so I have to cover it with #SphagnumMoss so as not to get dry (I read that Sphagnum Moss can retain moisture well, so, with this, I'll have to eventually remove it to prevent fungal build-up once the roots have adapted well in months to come)... I have recently seen new shoots growing in the trunks after a couple of weeks in shade so I will transition it now to a sunny south-facing location. Chinese Holly are notoriously sensitive when being transplanted so I am glad I was succesful on this one.
