Imagine being a jaded PI who after a bad breakup is skeptical & critical about love but you're still so in love with your friend of the last 4yrs (your friend who gave you a reason to be happy and a reason to live and who supported you when you were at your lowest trying to drink away all your problems) that an evil matchmaking corporation that creates your freakishly perfect match deems you "ineligible" because even a person who would share all your favourite things, who could comfort you with even a touch, who was exactly your type both in personality & appearance wouldn't have stopped you from being in love with your friend. Only for you to not only never pursue your friend but to also happily support them finding a partner while pining from a distance because the last time you fell in love you got hurt, and because they deserve the happiness of experiencing love even if you tell yourself you no longer need it or believe in it

God I KNEW Damien being 22 when he entered the priesthood made me disgusted for a reason even if I couldn’t remember why. That’s younger than what’s allowed now and I didn’t account for seminary school. He was in seminary school during his teen years (Being in seminary school for 6-8 years doesn’t mean you’ve entered into the priesthood you work up to it and then they either reject or accept/ordain you). Usually it’s after college now and not at. 16.

thatd mean Damien was 12 years old when he started training. A lot younger than I accounted for, and a lot younger than what is acceptable today. For the love of god get him in a college first.
