Trouble Sleeping

The Royal Romance  /  Liam x MC   Drake  Maxwell  Hana  (The whole gang is having trouble sleeping!)  ( A little NSFW) 

MC was having trouble sleeping… again.  She has tried everything but can’t settle her mind.  Lately the only way she’s been able to get any real rest is when she is in Liam’s arms.  She smiled thinking about him, but she knows she can’t make a habit of this.. yet.  It would cause a scandal if anyone saw her going into his room or worse yet, saw her coming out of it hours later!  She tossed and turned for hours before giving up.  She pulled on her slippers and shuffled to the Prince’s room.  She knocked softly his door, ready for this all to be over so she can fall asleep in the arms of her love, every night. 

A soft knock on the bedroom door at 2 am was something Liam was getting used to.  As the days leading up to to the coronation come to a close, the stressful competitions and being in the spotlight have taken their toll on the American.  When the pressure gets too much for her, she often comes to him for comfort.  Despite the possible consequences of getting caught and the scandal it would cause, Liam can’t say no to her.  Liam gets out of bed to let her in and MC waits until the door is closed behind her before wrapping her arms around Liam’s neck.  He holds her closely and leads her to his bed.  She climbs in first with her back to him and the Prince gets in, gently enclosing her into his arms.   He puts his hand over hers as it rests on her stomach.  He nuzzles against her, pulling her tightly to his chest as the smell of her hair fills his senses. Her deep breathing indicates she has fallen asleep and in turn he allows himself to do the same. 

Drake’s late night/early morning hallway strolls were becoming more and more frequent the closer they got to the coronation.  Although he had witnessed first hand the American’s love for his best friend, he still could not get her out of his mind.  There have been many times when he was just drunk enough that he almost told her how he felt, or worse yet grabbed her and showed her how he felt.  From her responses to some of his hints, she is aware of how he feels but she is too kind to say anything.  She doesn’t want to embarrass him by pointing it out but she’s made it clear in every way that she is madly in love with Liam.  When she is letting the pressures of court get to her, it is Liam she seeks out.  It is Liam who calms her nerves, immediately giving her confidence and reminding her of her reason for all of this. It was equally obvious how in love the Prince is as well.  When she enters a room, his face lights up. If he could have asked her to marry him weeks ago, he would have. The rest of this is just a formality and a chance to have the press and the other royals see how special MC is.   Everyone who has met her know what a great Queen she will be for Cordonia.  Drake runs his hands through his hair with one hand while the other tightly clutches the whiskey bottle he had ‘borrowed’ from the bar last night.  He was headed back to his room for a shower when he heard footsteps that he recognized from some of his other nightly walks.  MC must have had trouble sleeping again and although he couldn’t see her from around the corner, he knew when he heard the soft knock that she was seeking out Liam for comfort once again.  He grabbed the bottle tighter and let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding, once he head Liam’s door shut.  Drake was going to need more than this bottle to get the images of her out of his head.  

Maxwell struggled to get to sleep. He had walked in on MC changing earlier in the boutique and couldn’t get the image of her body out of his head.  He’d known bringing her here was somewhat selfish as he found her to be very beautiful and fun to be around. Although they have gotten closer and he considers her a good friend and knows there can be nothing more, he can’t help where his thoughts lead when alone in his room late at night.  There are only so many cold showers a man can take.  Even though he knows it isn’t proper, he knows exactly who he’s going to visit tonight when he’s sure no one will find out. 

The Lady looks at pictures she had taken on her cell phone of the American girl on the beach.  Her long hair blowing in the wind, her lower body shimmering in the water.  MC was laughing and protecting herself from a splash.  Hana felt her heartbeat and breath quicken.  She allowed her hand to roam down her body, thinking of the beautiful American girl who had somehow stolen the hearts of everyone she met.  Hana massaged her breast with one hand while zooming in on other pictures featuring MC.  Her hand traveled down her stomach and to her thigh, imagining it was the hand of another.  Her hand had just traveled under her panties when she heard a soft knock on the door.  She guessed who it was and although it was not who she wanted touching her body right now, Maxwell would have to do.   At least he would offer her some relief so she could get some sleep tonight.

#ChoicesCreates: How Choices changed my life

If you know me, I’m always just kind of there. I’ve been in the Pixelberry fandom for quite a while and I’m still here, just reblogging posts and stuff. Once in a while I post stuff like screenshots (rarely), but mostly I share OC stuff like backstrokes, character profiles, sometimes OC aesthetics. But mostly I just lurk around, which is all I really do.

A year ago, Choices came out. I have to admit that at first I wasn’t sure what to think about it. I downloaded it anyway because it’s from Pixelberry and I’m a fan of High School Story and Hollywood U, both which I still play. I have to say, I’m glad I got into it and I’m happy to see it grow.

The game itself wasn’t really a life-changer for me, but the people on here. I’m not really the type of person who goes out to participate and put myself out there but there was something about the PB fanbase that made me feel comfortable making original content and occasionally interact with others. I always find it hard to believe that people like and read my stuff and that after having this blog for like three years people are still following me. I’m bad with words and I don’t say it often but I’m glad I got to know a lot of people on here, even if we don’t talk much. I’m not the best at conversation, or socializing in general, but I just want to say, you guys are awesome and because of you, I’m happy to be a part of this.

The biggest thing I think made me feel like a part of this was this event, Choices Creates. I’m not a very confident person and although I write a lot of stuff, I never really wrote stories or long pieces. Other than doing some prompts for Camp HSS last year, I never thought I’d be committed to something like this. Thanks to Choices Creates I pushed myself to write more, which helped me get my ideas out and improve. I still have a long way to go but I’m happy to participate in these events and surprised that I stuck to it for all these weeks, which is like a record for me. Hopefully I can keep up when school starts, it might be a nice de-stressor. And the fact that people liked my entries and comment on it makes me happy, I just wish that I knew how to articulate it better because comments like that mean a lot to me.

So to sum things up, thank you Choices for bringing us together. And thank you Pixelberry fandom for encouraging me to be creative and bringing me out of my shell.

Passion

It is my pleasure to host this week as this week being the first year anniversary of Choices. Thanks to @hollyashton for the chance. Here is my entry for the week. 

I think that the title says it all Choices gave me the passion for writing and for interacting with the fandom. I usually just a lurker never actually voicing my opinion on anything. So, back in January when I went looking for relationship game application on the app store I never thought I would be this invested in a phone game.  

Playing, The Freshman, I was taken back by how much I liked Kaitlyn Liao. So, I thought maybe someone posted something about her on Tumblr. Found @niasusanto's  blog postings about how she felt about my favorite character. Of course, @hollyashton had a couple of Kaitlyn stories. So, I took the plunge and message Holly, and I still do to this day. Kaitlyn Liao is the reason I came here in the first place.

The people in the fandom are the reason I stay and keep on playing the game. The game changes my perspective on the rest of the world. Yes, I am just an American but, this game gave me the outlet to talk to people from all over the world. Forget about our differences and just talk about something we love gave me something I will never forget this community.

The acceptance and encouragement I have received have helped me to post fan fiction. I see others get more notes than me it does get me discouraged but, if one person messages me that they liked something I have done I must have done something right. Thanks to Choices for giving me and all of the other's passion for showcasing their art, thoughts, and feelings about the game. If you don’t like what happens in the game well, there is always fan fiction.
