X Festiwal Lokomotyw Spalinowych wśród poczciwych parowozów

Dzisiaj krótka relacja z Diesel Fest 2025, z Muzeum Kolejnictwa na Śląsku w Jaworzynie Śląskiej. Muzeum po raz dziesiąty jest organizatorem tej imprezy. Z roku na rok ściąga coraz więcej miłośników kolei, fanów trakcji spalinowej. Impreza trwa od 19 do 22 czerwca 2025 roku. Bohaterem I dnia festiwalu była lokomotywa JT42CWR / Class 66 prywatnego przewoźnika kolejowego Freightliner PL wchodzącego w skład brytyjskiej grupy Freightliner Group. Dla mniej wtajemniczonych czytelników - JT42CWRM / Class 66 to seria normalnotorowych lokomotyw spalinowych. Lokomotyw uniwersalnych ze uwagi na dużą moc silnika. Lokomotywa jest używana głównie w ruchu towarowym. Seria 66 bazuje na sprawdzonej w Wielkiej Brytanii serii Class 59. Łącznie z wzornictwem.

So, I managed to pick this up with sound fitted for less than half the normal asking price on ebay... Captain Tom Moore has again been thanked for his fundraising efforts with the naming of a GB Railfreight Class 66 locomotive. A 129-tonne Class 66, No. 66731 (which has already been unveiled with the message “Thank You NHS”) will be named ‘Captain Tom Moore’ The nameplate will have the added detail of ‘A true British inspiration’’. The nameplates being produced by Procast. The naming took place to coincide with Captain Moore’s 100th birthday (Thursday 30 April).
