hieieieee~
sorry for being random but can you gimme a few tips for scoring well in maths in cbse 12th grade? i scored just 34.5/80 in my half yearlies and you can imagine how must have i felt- the same old crying, anxiety attacks falana dimkana.
i thought i should ask it from someone who actually likes the subject rather than the people who just want me to score good to improve their school average :)
Areey koi na, aap padhare humare inbox mein shobha hi badh gayi humari🥹
Allllrightttt, let’s start with the basic tips:
Learn how to love maths-*gets hit with chappal* No seriously, this is the first one. Maths ko ye sochkar solve mat karo ki mujhe exam clear karna hai. Try to be curious about the concept instead, like “oh I just learnt this new trick to solve answers, let me learn/revise its functioning by solving these questions.”
Focus on your syllabus. This isn’t an exam but a practice tip. Solve the entire NCERT, examples and miscellaneous included (if you don’t like math in general than you can skip those 2 tho). Solved them? Solve it again! Then add to the mix the exampler and viola! 99% prepping complete. This is where majority of your exam will be from. And given that you aren’t a fan of math to begin with, you can afford to skip exampler aswell if your only aim is of getting a decent enough score. (Take for example my own exam. It was a bit out of syllabus with tougher and outside questions on the 4 marks side, I hadn’t practiced anything outside the ncert but still bagged an 85% in math without coaching and all.)
Take your sweet sweet time. Again, a practice tip. Don’t rush , don’t try to be ahead of syllabus or put more on your plate than you can handle. Do enough questions/exercises as you can take on a singular day. Take time to ‘digest’ them , or let them settle in your mind. How you did that question, what formulae and derivation were to be used, let it seep in. Then, do more questions once you feel like it, the next day Of course. Once you have somewhat versed yourself in those questions and come back for revision, increase the number of questions you do each time, like solving more of the kind from exampler/RD or combining multiple exercises in one session. It will help both your speed and practice in general. Ps, don’t forget to redo questions you got wrong! Take extra care with them :)
Don’t sweat it. Rona dhona chhod do, aur chinta to bhulke bhi mat lo. Isse jo kaam achha ho rha hai wo bhi kharaab ho jaega. I remember losing it after getting my first term result because I scored a mere 32/40 in math, took me awhile to get back to the subject. I did it again in my CLAT/AILET, I was so afraid/anxious that I ended up sick in the twilight hours of my exam day and naturally didn’t get a good score. I have learned my lesson since, do me a favour and learn from my mistakes instead of repeating them on yourself :’)
Analyse yourself. Last but not the least, Sweety, its you who knows her own predicament, tour strength and weaknesses, and how smart you really are. It’s your own life that depends on you, na kal ko Pados waali auntie ki life pe asar padega aapke kuchh karne na karne se, na wo chidne waali chachi ki, to in logo ka pressure bilkul mat lo. Aur na khudko inke bacho se compare karo. Final term hai abhi, tab tak itni mehnat karo ki apna personal best de sako, and if your personal best in math still falls short of being your overall best, then leave it. Bhagwaan ne jin fields m talent diya hai unme kuchh karo, kyunki kismat m aagey wahi likha hai. Believe me, you’ll walk away from math satisfied that you gave it your all Well that’s it from me, if you need any specific help, Pop in anytime. All the best wishes and lots of love, BA Math waali didi<3

*knock knock* I have a few study tips for my fellow Humanities student :) I don't know what subjects you have so I'll leave about History, Pol. Sc and English <333
English: This is one of the most important subject because it's a compulsory one so pay it a bit extra care. Writing, writing, writing. If you practice writing well then it'd be a lot easier! Try to write short yet complete. CBSE prefers concise answers to essay ones... also one of the toughest part of this subject is that, the paper is very lengthy. Try to speed up your writing speed <3
History: Study the NCERT books thoroughly. Trust me, 99% time no question comes from outside sources. Make a timeline/chronological order for every subject. Also "comprehension-based" questions often come from the "Source" section (the purple boxes), they are very scoring.
Political Science: For this one, you need to keep up with daily issues. This year around 5-7 marks question came out of syllabus from current affairs... Also the NCERT books are important too, timeline helps in this one as well!
For overall: do not repeat my mistakes T~T and complete the project work early... they don't carry much marks but a good file is the key to making a good impression on the external examiner. Also, it helps a lot in study too! <3
And lastly but most importantly, YOU matter more than your grades. Your health, both physical and mental, is the top priority. Grades don't define you. And remember to take care of yourself and do something you love! Journalling can be good stress relief! :) also... try to make studying enjoyable. It works miracles. Say you like listening to music, you can perhaps use ambient music while studying!
All the best for you studies, and sending you lots of love <333
i-i--i---
are you a FREAKING ANGEL in disguise!? oh no, considering your love for antagonists, i suppose you'll prefer 'devil's angel'? (eh, lame me being lame)
dude i swear it is SO difficult to find people who let alone advice, at least support you for taking humanities and you, my love, are literally a limited edition that i'd preserve for eternity (this word reminds me of you- ashwapallvam and your divinely sweeter-than-honey nature ^^)
wait- cbse prefers concise answers? our teacher makes us write essays for even a 2 marker! we wouldn’t know since our board exams were canceled ugh. also, question from current affairs in exam; really? i thought that happened just in entrances and clat but damn. i do keep up with the news but the world is too big smh. yeah projects are weird but they’re quite scoring agreed.
there’s so much going on rn and it’s so hard to keep up and manage. like i should study geography and complete my pending work but here i am watching pll original sin on hbomax.
anywhooo~ THANK YOU SO FREAKING MUCH! i cannot believe you took the time and effort to guide me like this man- tumblrinas are too precious to be true!
please ask/rant about anything you feel i’m worth taking suggestions for. i owe you bestie!

Hey, didn't you give clat last year too?
(also can you suggest some books for clat?)
i did 😭 i didn't get the score i wanted and i knew i wouldn't tbh i was not prepared too well so im writing it again in december
there's not too many "books" as such because the syllabus is very vast and most of the comprehensive books you'll find are guides which are not that helpful because there's a ton of theory in those (if you're looking for both theory and questions, then guides are great; i personally bought universal's guide last year and it was pretty good) but there's a good number of other books you can buy for subjects differently
for english you can buy word power made easy by norman lewis (amazing book for vocabulary) and wren & martin (its helpful for ailet or if you wanna clear your grammar basics)
for logical reasoning, verbal reasoning by r.s. aggarwal is good if you're a beginner and after that you can buy the gmat guide (honestly tho if you're enrolled with a coaching institute then they must provide material so practice from that material itself, it's specifically designed for the exam so it's best)

Hii I wanna ask ki is 1 month prep enough for clat if I know some of the basics already??
Hi, I'm really sorry for not responding. I was on a sm break (since, april??, i think)
I mean you can do anything you put your mind into, but just one month to cram the syllabus + revise + mocks, that'd be exhausting.

Preparing for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a significant undertaking that requires a strategic approach. One of the primary decisions aspirants face is whether to join coaching classes or to rely on self-study. Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages, and the best choice depends on individual preferences, learning styles, and circumstances.
Joining Coaching Classes web: www.rajasthali.org.in Advantages:
Structured Learning:
Coaching classes provide a well-structured curriculum, covering all the topics systematically. This structure helps students stay on track and ensures that no important topic is overlooked. Experienced Faculty:
Access to experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who can clarify doubts, provide insights, and share valuable exam strategies. Regular Assessment:
Regular mock tests and assessments help students gauge their progress and identify areas that need improvement. These tests simulate the actual exam environment, which can reduce anxiety on the test day. Peer Learning:
Interacting with fellow aspirants can be motivating and informative. Group discussions and study sessions can enhance understanding and provide different perspectives on complex topics. Resource Availability:
Coaching centers often provide comprehensive study materials, including notes, practice papers, and previous years’ question papers, which can save time and effort in gathering resources. Disadvantages:
Cost:
Coaching classes can be expensive, which may not be affordable for all students. Time Constraints:
Fixed schedules may not be convenient for everyone, especially those who have other commitments such as school or work. One-Size-Fits-All Approach:
The teaching pace and style may not suit every student. Individual learning needs may not always be addressed in a classroom setting. Self-Study Advantages:
Flexibility:
Self-study allows students to create their own schedule and study at their own pace. This flexibility is ideal for balancing other commitments and finding time for rest and recreation. Customization:
Students can tailor their study plans according to their strengths and weaknesses, focusing more on areas that need improvement. Cost-Effective:
Self-study eliminates the expense of coaching classes, making it a more affordable option. Independence:
Self-study fosters independence and self-discipline, qualities that are valuable not only for CLAT but also for a legal career. Disadvantages:
Lack of Structure:
Without a structured plan, it can be challenging to cover the entire syllabus systematically. Students may also struggle with time management. Limited Guidance:
Lack of access to experienced faculty and mentors can make it difficult to resolve doubts and gain insights into effective exam strategies. Motivation Issues:
Staying motivated and disciplined without external support can be challenging. It is easy to get distracted or lose focus. Resource Management:
Gathering comprehensive study materials and identifying reliable sources of information can be time-consuming and overwhelming. Conclusion Choosing between coaching classes and self-study depends on individual preferences and circumstances. Coaching classes offer a structured environment with expert guidance, which can be beneficial for students who prefer a classroom setting and need regular assessments. On the other hand, self-study provides flexibility and customization, which is ideal for self-motivated individuals who can manage their time effectively.
Ultimately, a hybrid approach that combines the best of both worlds—using coaching classes for structured learning and self-study for in-depth understanding and flexibility—can also be a highly effective strategy for CLAT preparation. The key is to assess personal learning preferences, strengths, and weaknesses, and choose the method that best aligns with one's goals and lifestyle

Utilize Online Resources: Explore online platforms offering free mock tests, previous year's question papers, and concept-specific videos.
Join Online Forums and Discussion Groups: Engage with fellow CLAT aspirants online to discuss doubts, share strategies, and stay motivated.
Develop a Habit of Making Notes: During lectures or self-study, create concise notes that summarize key concepts and formulas for quick revision.

Maintain a Positive Attitude: Stay motivated throughout your preparation. Celebrate your achievements and approach challenges with a determined mindset.
Finding the Perfect Fit: Attending Demo Classes
Many institutes offer demo classes, allowing you to experience their teaching methods, faculty interaction, and classroom environment firsthand. This is an excellent opportunity to:
Assess the Teaching Style: Observe how well the faculty explains concepts and engages with students. Does their style resonate with your learning preferences?
Evaluate Batch Size and Interaction: Observe the student-teacher ratio and the level of interaction in the classroom. Does it facilitate individual attention and doubt clarification?

Explore Government Scholarships: Research scholarships offered by the government or specific institutes for law aspirants belonging to underprivileged sections.

Practice Extensive Mock Tests: Simulate the actual exam environment by taking mock tests under timed conditions. Analyze your performance and identify areas requiring further attention.
Focus on Time Management: Develop a time allocation strategy for each section of the CLAT exam to ensure you attempt all questions within the stipulated timeframe.
Maintain a Healthy Routine: Prioritize adequate sleep, nutritious meals, and regular exercise to manage stress and enhance your focus.
Conclusion:

By following the comprehensive tips outlined in this guide, you can approach the exam with confidence and maximize your chances of securing a coveted seat in a top National Law University.
