But for real… there were always queer undertones. I stand by the notion that those two were queercoded from the start.

Barriss was a fellow padawan, maybe two or three years older than Ahsoka. Like did we watch the same swtcw? dave filoni destroyed Barriss’ character but still made those lesbians trauma bond… its right there in the second season…

Also, I’m pretty sure it’s Star Wars’ most popular wlw ship. (According to SW tumblr. There was some kind of poll I cannot find at the moment)

And let’s be honest, I don’t know anyone who particularly likes Lux or finds him a good character. Ahsoka’s character deserved more than that bruh. -_- I’d rather make up… or speculate… something more interesting actually happened.

I apologize for answering this so late 🌧 nonnie, but it's finally here!! Thank you so much for spoiling me with your questions once again, I had lots of fun crafting almost 1k words of Syel lore!! I almost can't believe I wrote that much omg. But I think I'm quite happy with our backstory and how we came to be <33

What's an aesthetic that fits your relationship with Sylus (with pics pls!)

What’s your favorite fiction or fanfic genre to write/draw/imagine your self ship in? What fictional trope does your ship fall into?

I love writing fluff/romance genre and some of the ficlets I have up for him are a teensy bit self-ship coded. I knew his myth & lore was going to hurt me deeply so I simply wanted to give him all the love he never received. As for fictional trope—Syel falls under strangers to lovers with a hint of slow burn (also turned exes back to lovers, but very briefly early on!! I may or may not have something for this in the drafts… heh).

Has anything you’ve seen in other media or headcanons inspired aspects of your ship?

A while back when I was more active in the JJK fandom, I wrote a little bit about civilian!reader x sorcerer!gojo on another blog and when deciding what kind of AU I wanted for Syel—I liked that concept the most for us. Where he’s still Onychinus leader and I’m a normal civilian and how our two different worlds would mix and mingle.

What is something Sylus says/does/wears that makes you flustered? and vice versa :3

(Suggestive warning‼️) Sylus loves seeing me in nightgowns, and he makes sure I know it through his wandering gaze, his hand reaching out to me and pulling me down onto his lap, and even coping a feel through the smooth silk fabric while he asserts if I came to him looking to make trouble. He gets intrigued by the fact I’m not wearing panties with my nightgown. Adding on that I must have planned for this, haven’t I?

As for me, he gets me feeling so shy when he has me tell him exactly what my desires are when it’s already implied. He knows what I need from him but he wants to hear me say it and use my words. He can’t help teasing me even if that means I’ll get a little bratty with him (which was his intention anyway).

When did you realize you were in love with Sylus? and vise-versa :3

I realized that I was in love with Sylus when I caught myself staring at him and couldn't help smiling to myself because he seemed to grasp at every opportunity to express his devotion to me. And this probably hit me when he was cleaning and bandaging a small cut on my finger since I’m accident-prone. I recall our time together and he paid attention to the things that were important to me, made me feel so safe that I felt comfortable coming to him for anything and nothing would seem silly to him. And he always left no room for doubts in everything that he did for me.

Sylus realized that he was in love with me the first night I spent at his place. With me sleeping soundly beside him, something shifts within him like I was what’s been missing from his life this entire time. He’s warmed by the thought that I’m just within a hand's reach from him, that I trusted him enough to be in my most vulnerable state, and he feels a rising affection toward me leading him to gently trace his fingers along my back and press his lips against my head. From that moment onwards, he decided that he didn’t want a future without me in it.

How do both of you keep the spark in your relationship going?

We never take each other for granted and always make sure to show our appreciation. The playfulness and attraction are never lost because we like to tease and flirt with each other tons even in the comfort of our own home—keeping it fun, finding every excuse to be close, coming together for all kinds of kisses wherever we are.

How do you comfort each other in times of sadness or anguish? How do you heal each other?

By being there for each other and holding each other in our arms. Sometimes no words are exchanged, like an unspoken understanding that we know something is wrong but not quite ready to talk about it yet. So we comfort one another the best we can, seeking the other’s warmth and familiar touch and usually that alone is enough to lift the sorrows or anguish. And shortly after, we quietly talk about what brought on such turmoil because we don’t make it a habit to keep anything from each other.

Who is the more vulnerable of the two? Who is the more closed-off one? How did you gain each other’s trust?

Sylus is the more vulnerable one in the sense when we first started dating I had no idea he was Onychinus leader and what that means. He has yet to tell me about it and typically dances around half-truths about his life when we're still getting to know each other better. But he was planning on telling me, he was just afraid of how I’d respond so he held it off as long as possible. I eventually found out one way or another, and I suppose I knew he was too good to be true so that resulted in me becoming closed-off and even ending things with him. But of course, he eventually wins me back and he promises to tell me everything that I wish to know about him and the organizations, even his past deeds.

How would your baby showers look like? (Or a gender reveal party?)

We have private gender reveals, and we usually have a beautiful cake and the selected color in the center of the layers to slice into. Our first one took place outdoors since it was such a lovely day so I thought a picnic under the gazebo would’ve been perfect for the occasion—and it was when we saw crumbs of pink.

What would your children look like? And how many would there be? What are their names?

Names are so difficult to come up with I can’t come up with ones that’d feel suitable at the moment but I shall revisit this question once I do!! I think me and Sylus would have three children, four at most—a daughter with his color palette, a son with my color palette, and another daughter who’s the perfect blend of us. Perhaps the fourth one could be a carbon copy of him.

What were you and Sylus for Halloween this year? And what did you both celebrate it?

I dressed up as cupid and Sylus was my target with red arrows, hearts and kiss marks decorated all over him. We spent Halloween passing out candies at one of our homes outside the N109 zone where it’s much safer for little trick-or-treaters to go around the streets.

I don’t own any Sylus or lads merch yet—such a shame, really!! I’d honestly love to have a Sylus plushie someday. I should look into what’s available for purchase and go from there hehe.

a tense smile briefly crosses his expression at the commentary, as they both sit down upon the grassy plain that their whole team has taken a rest at for the time being. he doesn't know how they got to this topic, but it's one that he knows a quite well lot about and he's not about to shirk away from a heavier topic if he needs to have a chat about it. besides... it seems that tifa is questioning something, and he can't help but furrow his brows at the indication that it's eating at her.

"I can't argue that," he responds with a light drawl that has only been adopted from a certain airship engineer ( though they'd both dismiss it outright ) as he tilts his head to the side akin to a confused pup.
