A Moonlit Confession💜🌌💙(Short Thunderclouds Fic)

"The Volbeat and Illumise are really pretty together, yanno?" Amy was fascinated by the way the two FireFly Pokemon danced in the night sky. Moving in perfect sync, it was almost as if they were one!

Amy's focus was lost when she felt a arm wrap around hers. "Hey, Amy, c-could i ask you something?" She turned to see her good friend Ash, looking nervous, despite how much he tried to hide that. "Sure Ash, what is it?"

"Well over the last week, I think i realised something important. Something I've wanted to tell you for a while." Ash said, looking down to the boardwalk to the lake they were standing on. "You notice how happy the Volbeat and Illumise look when they're together?"

Amy took a moment to reply. "Of course, though im not sure how that's--" Amy suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around her, along with Ash burying his head into Amy's shoulder. "It's just that... i wanna be like that with you. I wanna be ..your.. Volbeat." Ash suddenly broke away from the hug, Tipping his hat down to hide the fact he was blushing furiously.

"That is, if you wanna be my Illumise." Amy then gave Ash a giant hug, one strong enough to send them both tumbling onto the ground, "You silly goof, of course i will!" Amy said bubbly, before softly kissing Ash on the cheek.

"Don't you know how much i love you?" Amy giggled out, her laugh just as sweet as she is. Ash took the opportunity to land a soft kiss on Amy's lips. "Of course i do, i love you just as much" Ash softly spoke out, hugging Amy softly. Both of them agreed it was one of the best nights ever.
