Banished Demon au

Inspired by Clown 2014, an au where the demon is banished but Kent is not exactly human anymore. At first he thinks that the nightmare is over when he wakes up back to normal till he transforms when the sun goes down. His final form is different from the movie, his rainbow hair is bright and very long.

The horn is longer, he's much larger in size, his facial structure doesn't change as much, and his toes are longer perfect for climbing.

The first time this happens he's terrified that he'll hurt someone and locks himself in the basement and calls his wife to tell her to get Jack out in case he breaks out of there. As a seven year old Jack is confused why his dad is so much bigger but is only scared because his dad is. His in laws come to the house unaware of what's going on and find him. At first they think it's a costume till upon attempting to remove the 'wig' the neck frill lifts up like a Frilled Neck Lizard. They call his wife (I forgot her name) and they decide to keep it a secret as people may not exactly care if he doesn't hurt anyone. In the morning he changes back and the rainbow hair essentially falls out as his original hair grows back.

Tonight's weird-as-hell horror film was the 2014 Eli Roth produced Jon Watts directed Clown. Not for those suffering mild to severe coulrophobia.

Guy puts on a vintage Clown costume which refuses to come off. Turns out, the suit is the skin of an ancient Clown monster which possesses him, giving him a mild craving for children.

It's a gory bit of fun, though I would very much have appreciated if one person outside of Peter Stormare had any common sense across this entire movie. The rules are outlined very clearly: either decapitate the Cloyne, or kill five children. Why does his wife insist "oh, it's my husband! I'll be able to lice with him happily ever after and forgive him his bloody-thirsty murder spree once we get the silly suit off because I WUV him sooooo much!"?

Woman, you are told outright the cost of "curing" the Cloynification. You are told the monster cannot be trusted and you think you can bargain with the thing. And her father drops the Idiot Ball so damn hard: your daughter says "Hey, look after my son, keep him away from his dad, he's dangerous!" And you still think to just, go back without considering the fact that maybe there was a reason you were given these very specific instructions? You literally watched him break a guy's arm for no damn reason and you think you can just, talk things out?

The set-up of this movie is humorous, and you should appreciate how seriously it takes everything. Even when it literally shows the Clown bleeding rainbows. You should also appreciate how legitimately disturbing the Cloyne is both as a concept, and as a well designed creature. When I keep saying "clown" I imagine a number of people picture Joker or Pennywise or the clown from Terrifier. Ronald McDonald, whatever. Feast your eyes on this beautiful thing!

I advise that it does feature a number of potentially triggering concepts, outside of the obvious coulrophobia, child-murder and general gore. In early stages of possession, there are a number of brutal failed suicide attempts, and unfortunately, there is a dog in a horror movie which ends exactly as one might expect.

Still, a worthy hour and a half.

Here’s my Clown (2014) oc I was talking abt

(Tagging you @cosmamoon because you wanted to hear about it)

(For context: Clown is a 2014 horror movie directed by Jon Watts. It’s about a real estate agent, Kent McCoy, who, after finding out that the professional clown he hired for his son, Jack’s, birthday party isn’t going to make it to the party, finds a clown costume in a house he’s selling and decides to step in as the clown. But after falling asleep in the costume, he finds that he physically cannot remove it.)

Anyways, my oc’s (These are fairly new oc’s so bear with me, they may not be fully developed. Also this is an au so it won’t exactly follow the events of Clown):

-Charlotte McNamara is a teenage girl who loves loves loves ballet despite how much it hurts.

-She also lives right next door to the McCoy’s and sometimes babysits Jack.

-(This is the part that may be altered a few times because it may not make a lot of sense:) She gets bullied at ballet class because teenagers lowkey suck. They splash her with fake blood because they know damn well shes terrified of blood. This also ruins her costume for the upcoming talent show at the ballet studio, which is meant to take place the day after this incident. Dammit.

-Buuuuuuuuuut there’s old costumes in the ballet studio’s basement! Yippieee! And the costume she happens upon is almost the same style as her old one!

-The costume btw is a white lolita dress, black ballet slippers, and a white mask with a marionette-like movable jaw.

-She wore it to the show. Yay.

-Wait she can’t take the costume or the mask off. It feels like they’re stuck to her skin.

-Like Kent, she tries everything she can to remove this costume. She tries to cut off the dress but it doesn’t work. It can’t be removed.

-She begins to experience bizarre symptoms. Like coughing up a black substance and pulling white strings out from under her fingernails. This happens as the costume begins to merge with her flesh.

-The mask is her face now.

-Oh and she brutally murders a man she caught kidnapping children at some point.

-Her and Kent also try to kill eachother on multiple occasions (more on that later)

-This transformation also makes her better at ballet???

-She also killed the ballet instructor because she’s mean to kids. And then she dwells in the ballet studio, dancing and making webs.

-Once she’s fully transformed, she lured Kent, who’s also fully transformed, into the ballet studio.

-The girls are fightinggggg

-This au has different endings but I don’t wanna get into that now

-Anyways. The costume is actually the skin and face of an ancient demon, Arachna Y’silki.

-Who is this Jane Doe Webby Black Swan lovechild you may ask?

-She lived in the Icelandic mountains. The same mountains as Clöyne (The demon possessing Kent via the clown costume). But they lived in different caves.

-Clöyne and Arachna fucking HATE eachother.

-Seriously, they’ve been fighting for centuries. Get their asses on reality tv!!!

-The reason behind their rivalry lies in the fact that Arachna protects children. Clöyne eats children.

-She would lure children away from him by singing. She would keep children in her cave until it’s safe for them to go back home.

-She grieves the ones she couldn’t save.

That’s the lore (for now) I may have forgotten some details or I just haven’t fully developed the lore. But here’s the current lore.
