whats you next big project?
I'm currently torn between several WIPs...but I ultimately went with a trait set for my new occult system. I'm hoping to share it in the next day or two.

Excellent! Now I can get back to some of my lighting projects. Thanks again!
I've been trying to make recolors of the Plutonium Rod neon - would you be willing to share your PSD/template if you have it? If not, no worries.
I didn't use a PSD but I can walk you through it real quick
I used Dot's white recolor as a base, you can get it here.
Extract the textures, there are 3: Lit, Unlit, and Glow. Open each in Photoshop, add a new transparent layer and set it to Multiply in the dropdown on the right, then just colorfill the new layer
I can't wait to see your recolors, it's always nice to have more options for this light!

hello. I love the idea of your 4t2 traits. But, unfortunately, when I install them in the game, I don't know why, they appear invisible in the collection( There are the name but not the picture ). I can't place the tokens in the sim inventory. I used the 3t2 traits usually without problem. Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks for letting me know. This can happen if you have multiple versions of the “trait_collection” file in. Let mine replace the others, including the one that comes with the original 3t2 traits.

how do you use custom bodyshapes in your game? i know how they work (they’re basically just clothes), but do you use some kind of system to decide what bodies your sims use? do you just give them bodies you feel suits them?
Thanks for reaching out! I usually just give them what I feel suits them for my storylines. Most of the skin tones I use are townified/geneticized so that everybody gets something and children can "inherit" shapes from parents. For me, the two biggest setbacks are: 1) There's no quick, convenient way to see which skin tone sims generate with/inherit without simPE or cumbersome modding - at least as far as I know. You can see their general body type via their dating profile on the Chris hatch computer. 2) As sims age up, they get a new, random wardrobe - I sometimes have to correct their clothing.
*If I come across solutions to these issues, i'll post them in the comments.

Hello! Quick question, are the Custom Skill tokens still considered objects or are tokens separate from objects? I am curious how it would affect the Object Limit.
I'm not sure how they relate to the object limit - as I understand it, tokens are more like "invisible inventory objects." They're attached to sims once they start gaining the skill. The game looks for this skill token to see if the sim is allowed to do certain actions.

in the "(Re)organizing Your CAS/Bodyshop Folders" post you said you used the body shapes how do you find enough cc to actualy do that essppainally BSOK’d? Im mostly intrested using bodyshapes I want to find some one for fatter bodyshapes like myself and some very fit one but cant find more than 5-10 items for most body shapes im goihng for 4t2 even just pointing out some one else to help would be appratated
There aren't a lot of 4t2 items for male fatter/thicker bodyshapes. I found a lot of things on insimenator.org, simscave, blueheavensims, julie j's site, synapticsims, and some archived stuff from beosboxboy/maleorderbride.

Hi do you know a randomizer that is solely for your sub-hobby traits?
Thanks for reaching out, There isn't one at this time - making randomizers is beyond my skill set right now.

Your stuff is amazing!! I can't wait to see all the incredible neighbourhoods people will be able to build as a result.
Thanks! I have to give credit to folks in the @chocolatecitysim discord community (aka The Kit Kat Crew), SimCrafters, and Sim Shenanigans. They really encourage me to keep learning, experimenting, and creating for Sims. Much more to come! :)

Do you plan on making any hood and sharing them with this cc? What if others want to use your cc in their custom hoods?
Good morning,
I don’t have plans to share any custom hoods at this time but simmers are free to share custom hoods/lots w my CC - just credit or link to the site.

hello! your custom skill tokens project looks amazing! I had some questions though while reading your description: if I want to play with your custom skills, would I have to use all of them, or would it be a "pick and choose" situation where I can get only the custom skills I really want? I'm asking because that would be a lot of OBJDs to add to a game that's already pushing up against the object limit.
I was also wondering why you put for example photography in the mechanical category. wouldn't it make more sense in the creativity category? (same also applies to stuff like stoneworking/woodworking, but that makes a little more sense to me in the mechanical category than photography.) sure, there is some technical know-how to being a good photographer, but without the necessary artistry/creativity and the right "eye" for aesthetics, you won't be a good photographer, no matter how many expensive lensens and other doodads you have.
on the other hand, I don't quite get why skin care is under creativity? cleaning would make more sense to me, since barbering falls under cleaning as well. stylists usually do both hair styling and skin stuff/make up, so they kind of belong together imo.
not meant as criticism, just some thoughts I had while reading your post. very excited to see where this is going!
Good Morning, Thanks for all the great feedback - its helpful! You'll only need to add the skill tokens needed for whatever mod, career, etc. you add to your game (coming soon!). Photography was a tricky one because the word is used to name the process (which requires devices/machinery/tools) and the product (artwork/pictures, etc.) - it really belongs in BOTH creativity/mechanical. The skill book mod for that will likely build both. I put it in mechanical because I think the skilling part, at least for this mod, is more related to learning how to manipulate the tools themselves to bring your photographic vision to life. We already have a creativity skill and the photographer's eye trait, so the artistic part is kind of covered. I agree with the skin care note - that was originally under cleaning. I meant to move that back but must've forgotten. I'll update that. Thanks!

Soooo I've just gone on a downloading spree and pretty much nabbed everything on your page XD Thank you so much for these! They add so many possibilities to builds, even though I play a medieval game, I'm already excitedly thinking of how I can incorporate it in my builds! Also... the polycount is reasonable, the previews are clear and well-labelled??? Just... thank you
Thank you for your kind words! Medieval/historical simmers motivate me a lot in terms of creativity, storytelling, attention to detail, and understanding how to change game aesthetics.

Hi, I am picking up an error with the colors not showing as seen above with the set JSB Grocery 001: (Functional Jacky93Sims Remix) Everything else is 100% fine.
IF GROCERY STORE OBJECTS APPEAR SUNKEN OR SHADOWED. This is another one of the objects from the JSB Grocery sets (X) (X) which need to be shifted upwards once - then back down. This is because the object was cloned and/or resized in a way which sinks it slightly in the ground when first placed. Thus, the game considers it "below ground." Shifting it up, then down, should make it display correctly.

Hi :) I've been trying to download your Grocery sets, but for some reason I keep getting a "Server Error (500)" message OR a XML error (seems to want to save with this name "suratan_hazelpuff_QRsims_Amethyst" as a XML file for some reason) on several of your Simfileshare links. Other SFS links work fine for me. I've tried a couple browsers, it's the same on both. Could be temporary, of course, but just wondering if you could check it out?
thanks for reaching out - i've been having the same issue with links in my own account. i'll refresh all the links this afternoon and hopefully that will fix the issue.
