there's a big bold jumping spider making a nest in the corner of one of the office windows. J the office lady who likes spiders more than I do found it while cleaning, and now she gives me daily updates on this little pal's progress in weaving its house.

probs gonna lay eggs in there, if it's as big as J says. I have trouble balancing on the stool to see so far away. wanna see happy fat spider... u_u

#it's cool how bold jumpers in general get so big. holding one is like holding a pebble or smth. they got HEFT.#compared to H. kochii which are only ever teensy. housecat next to a tiger.#and there's the zebra jumpers and whatever the pretty brown-patterned ones are in the middle size range.#each of them out in the world minding their little spider business.
