It's always so funny to me when ppl in my part of the world complain about seasonal depression bc it simply does not compare in any way to the way it originated in nordic countries like…the sun goes down at 17-18h depending on where you are and temperatures seldom drop below 0°C and sometimes stay at around 15-20°C. You cannot compare that in any way to ppl who live in near or total darkness for most of the winter in freezing temperatures in places where even in spring and summer its usually overcast.
