finished my degree on a random Thursday from my bed
#don't feel great about the exam I just submitted but it seems everyone's struggled with it#now I'm just thinking way too much about what I actually want to do now??#like maybe now isn't the best time to make any major changes to what I already have planned#considering I haven't left my flat since last Friday. can't taste or smell anything so feel miserable. and still have a foggy head#but also I'm scared my master's is a bad idea/I'll fail and maybe should just do a linguistics ma instead lmao#but like I'm not interested in *anything* rn bc I'm ill so I don't feel capable and obviously want to fall back into the comfort of what I#already know. so will hold off on the 180 for now. no impulsive decisions will be made#I just love linguistics so much:( n even though my master's will focus on language technology I know it'll mostly be comp sci#which I've been super excited about cause that skillset will combine nicely w formal linguistics! it opens a lot more doors I think#but rn my brain is just: linguistics :( <3
